Chapter 18

Emmas POV

Cameron is an amazing kisser. After what just happened, there's no way I could ever let anything get in the way of us. We aren't officially a "couple" but to me, it feels like it.

For the rest of the day, Cameron and I just talked about random things and soon drifted off to sleep in his bed.

The Next Morning

I woke up with Cameron's strong arms wrapped around me. I didn't want to get out of bed, so I stayed there comfortably.

Minutes later, my phone dinged with a message.

I got myself out of Cameron's arms to see who it was.

Msg From: Tyler

Hey. You still coming over today?

I responded back

Msg To: Tyler

Yup. I have to get ready though. What time do you want me to be over?

Msg From: Tyler

Just text me when your done. I'll come pick you up.

Msg To: Tyler

Okay :)

I set my phone on the table and turned around to see Cameron sitting up in bed.

I jumped a little.

"Oh my gosh you scared me" I said laughing lightly

"Aw, Its okay. goodmorning beautiful" he said bringing my chin up to him and kissing me

I smiled

"Goodmorning"

"Who were you texting?" he asked going to his closet to get clothes

"Tyler. He wants to pick me up later to hang out"

"Oh"

I could tell that he didn't want me to be with him. But I need other people to talk to. I had to have friends other than Cameron, just in case.

I came up from behind him and put my hands on his shoulder.

"You Okay?"

"Yeah" he said walking to the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.

I sighed.

Well, might as well get ready.

I showered and got some clothes on. I put on black shorts and a red T-shirt along with my red converses.

I brushed my hair out and put it into a High ponytail.

When I was ready, I texted Tyler to come over.

I went to the kitchen and got a banana and ate it while waiting for Tyler to arrive.

I car honked outside minutes later and it was Tyler.

I threw my banana peel into the trash and walked outside to his car. He came out and greeted me with a hug.

"Hey pretty" he said smiling

"Hi" I smiled at him

He opened the passenger door for me and drove off.

Camerons POV

I don't like Tyler. And I don't trust him. Emma thinks I don't want her to see him because I don't like him, but its also because I don't want to see Emma get hurt.

I know what Tyler's up too, he does it all the time. I just want to keep Emma safe.

I sighed when I got into the the shower. I was in for about 10 minutes then I got out. I dried myself and threw on a grey T-shirt and sweatpants. I sat in the living room quietly going on my phone.

Emma came into the kitchen and ate a banana. I'm pretty sure she didn't notice me on the couch.

Later a car honked outside and I was guessing it was Tyler. Emna went outside and got into his car.

I actually feel sorry now that she's gonna find out who Tyler really is, the hard way. She didn't listen to me. And that will suck for her. But I won't give up. I have to convince her to stop going with him before she gets hurt.

I sat on the couch thinking for a good 20 minutes when I heard a knock on the door.

I walked to the door and opened it to see my Aunt.

I smiled

"Aunt May!" I said hugging her

"Aww Hey Cameron" she said hugging me back

"How was your little vacation ?" I asked her as I helped her with her bags into the house.

"Relaxing" she said laughing

"I'm glad" I said chuckling a bit

I set her bags into a corner of the living room.

"Where's Emma?" She asked me

"Shes out with one of her... friends" I huffed out

"Friends? Well its nice that she has some other people outside the house to socialize with." my aunt said

"I guess"

"Are you hungry?" she asked me

"Very"

"I bought some chinese take out on the way here. Its in that bag on the counter. Im gonna go take a shower. Be sure not to eat it all!" she said going to her room

"I won't!" I said laughing

Emmas POV

As Tyler drove, I couldnt help but think about how upset Cameron seemed.

Tyler looked at me and then back to the road.

"You okay?" he asked me

"Yeah im fine" I said faking a smile

He took one hand in mine, keeping the other hand on the road.

I smiled and he drove the rest of the way to his house.
