A Not so Pleasant Meeting

They went to breakfast the next day together. To their surprise there stood Ron looking like he had swallowed a spider. He looked like he was ready to spit something.

When they sat in their usual seats Ron came and sat near Hermione and started to apologize, " Umm, Hermione I am sorry for the things I have done to you. It is stupid of me to say rubbish about you and put you in that dangerous situation. Can you please forgive me".

Hermione turned to look Harry as if asking his opinion. Harry nodded his head in approval. Then Hermione said in a calm tone," it's fine Ron, I think we can be friends here after" and pulling Harry and Ron into a group hug.

When they almost finished their breakfast problem came in the form of Malfoy. " Well are you still alive Potter, I thought you were dead yesterday ,No problem I will finish you in a wizard duel. How about you and me in wizard duel tonight Crabbe will be my second ", Malfoy said with a sneer in his face.

But the reply came from Ron and not from Harry," I will be his second",said Ron confidently. "Fine" ,Malfoy said and went with a satisfaction in his face. "Ron what have you done?" Hermione asked every word with stress. "What" , Ron looked as if he has done the normal thing in the world. "Leave it Hermione " whatever done is done. Let me meet Malfoy tonight. "You're not serious, right Harry". I'm so serious Hermione.

"Harry this is delusional, He will not come tonight right", Hermione said that for the umpteenth time that night. I know that Hermione but this is my pride. I am going tonight and that's final.

"Harry this is crazy!! Why are we doing this?". "Because Hermione for the thousandth time I want to see whether draco has his guts upon his sleeve or he is just a whining baby afraid to fight his own fights",harry said with smile etched on his face. "We both know the answer to that right Harry", said Hermione also starting to smile.

After the common room emptied the trio came out of the portrait hole. " We should be careful",harry said to both of them. They were safe until they reach the second floor where they met Peeves. "Haha! Students out of bed ickle first years out of bed ",said peeves jumping up and down in air. " Shhh be quiet" ,Ron said shushing peeves. " But why should I be?" ,asked peeves with a smirk in his face. "Because Bloody Baron will look after you if you mess with us", said Harry like he was stating the universal truth. " Whaat Baa...Baaron as if in Bloody Baron?". "Why yes he is now in astronomy tower he asked you to meet him there, Now are you going or we should tell him that you ate disobeying him", Harry trailed off . " No ,No,No I am going right now" he ran (oh sorry) floated across the corridor. "Harry you are absolutely brilliant" she said as she hugged him. "Bloody Hell mate!. I didn't know that you had it in you", Ron said patting his shoulder.

When they came near the classroom by the first floor they saw an empty corridor. " I knew this would happen " Hermione said gritting her teeth. "I too assumed this would happen Hermione but can you please stop rubbing it on my face?", clearly his annoyance in his tone. Hermione huffed in response.

" Look Filch is coming , let's go " all three of them started running towards the stairs. "Harry, I think we came to third floor corridor", said Hermione. Suddenly they heard a cat noise Mrs.Norris all three of them shouted and run towards the door. It's not opening , Move Hermione pushed Ron aside "Alohomora" the door quickly opened and three of them entered.

Where are they my dear, we will catch them soon, now let's go, the trio heard a voice from outside. "Now let's go ", Hermione said they turned and they stumbled into a dog having one no no two no no three heads!. " Aaaahhh" they screamed and ran as fast as their legs could take them until they came to halt near portrait hole. They quickly mumbled the password and entered.

"Well it could have gone well,but what three headed dog is doing in Hogwarts", Ron asked around in common. "Well haveyou noticed where the dog is standing ?"asked Hermione. "Well on the floor but not sure been busy with three heads ", replied Harry with confusion on His face. "No it was standing upon trapdoor ,now if you don't mind I'm going to bed before you come with other clever idea of killing us or worse expelled" and went through stairs."I think she needs to sort out her priorities ",Ron said to which Harry just grumbled.
