Chapter 10-Facing the Enemy

                     After being split into two groups Harry along with Draco and Fang went further inner to the forest tracing the blood of the unicorn. When they were at the middle of forest the amount of blood seems to be increasing at an alarming rate. At the middle of the forest a dark hooded figure was lying there drinking the blood out of the dying unicorn.

            Malfoy ,as soon as he saw the picture he ran away from there on his butt sending the sparks on the sky followed by Fang. But, on the other hand a skin piercing pain exploded on Harry's body through his scar. He can't move from that place and he dropped on his knees. And the hooded figure was flying towards him.

 Suddenly an arrow flew past him at the figure scratching his ears. The hooded figure backed off from him and left the place. A horse no no, a human no,no, a centaur came into his view. "This place is not safe at all boy, especially for you". As he said that he took harry as a child and  dropped him on his back.

"What is your name Mr....". My name is Firenze Harry. "But, how do you know my name?". The mars is very red tonight. A war is coming soon. "But who was that? back there", Harry asked him .Who do you think my boy?. "Voldemort", as he said the word an  Firenze let an involuntary shudder. "We don't speak his name Harry". "Oh! I'm Sorry".

Hagrid came into their view. As soon as Firenze let Harry down, he was in the arms of Hermione by her infamous Hermione hug. "Harry, I'm so glad you are okay.... I...I was.... afr....afraid to death". "I'm Okay Hermione. It's alright. When she realized that there were people around them she removed herself from him and looked at the floor in embarassment.

"This is where I leave you Harry, where you are safe, Firenze told him". "Thanks for the ride Firenze, let's meet another time said, Hagrid".

"So, what you are saying is You-know-who is behind all of this", asked a bewildered Ron still digesting the news that was thrown infront of him. "Yes, it makes sense Ron. Snape doesn't want the philosophers Stone for himself. He want it for his master Voldemort. "Don't say his name Harry". Even though Hermione hadn't said anything from the looks of Hermione he understood that she is also afraid of the name, so he decided to stop the matter at that time. 

"All right this is it. "Harry, who is the person that you-know-who fears the most?", asked Ron. "Dumbledore", all three of them said at once. So, as long as Dumbledore is here you-know-who will not make any move, said Hermione. "Yeah, So we should inform him first".

"But Professor this is... about Philosopher's Stone. Someone is gonna steal it".

The trio was standing in front of Professor Mcgonagall explaining what they learned to the Professor only to know that professor Dumbledore   was away on Ministry business.

"I dunno where have you all learnt about that, but I can assure you all that it will be safe and it is protected by the best protection wards. They all came out with their heads down and whispering to each other when they heard a grumbling noise behind them.

"You all need to return to your common room now, or else some might think you are up to something". They tiptoed to their common room silently.

"That's it. It will happen today. Snape is gonna try to take the stone tonight. I should stop him somehow". "But Harry you were already in a detention for roaming after curfew. If you get caught another time , you will be expelled. " But don't you get it Ron, if you-know-who comes back there will be no Gryffindor, no House cup, no Hogwarts at all. I have to stop him.

"Will it cover all three of us ?", asked Hermione. "Why?". "You are not thinking that you can go all by yourself, are you?". "Fine , Tonight we all go, but if there is serious danger you both should return without me okay ?". Both of them nodded their heads as it is the only possibility to go with him.

By nightfall the trio were set on their adventure when Neville came infront of them. "You are not trying to sneak out again, are you?. If you go out Gryffindor will be in serious danger". "Neville it doesn't concern you, so move out of the way, said Harry. "No, I will... fight you". Hermione came in the front of Harry and said ," I am very very sorry Neville "Petrificus Totalus". "You are scary Hermione you know that right, brilliant, but scary", said Harry in awe. Together they all set to meet the unknown danger of their lifetime.
