Chapter 7

Rylee's POV

I was getting cold so i reached out to pull Jake closer but found his side of the bed empty and cold. I opened my eyes and saw a note on his pillow so i grabbed and read it.

Dear Rylee,

Sorry that I couldn't be there for when you woke up but I had some things to do for our day today. I love you so much and I have already picked out what you should wear, don't worry I'm not that much of a perv Rebecca helped. Anyways take as long as you need to get ready and just be sure to be ready by 6:00. I love you so much babe.

I smiled and looked at the closet door to see a blue and whits dress with a black over coat hanging on the doorknob. Then below it were black flats with bows on them. I smiled and got out of bed and going down stairs to eat.

"Good morning little sis and little bro."

"Why so chirpy buddy?"

"Oh you know just found out that im going to be a father."

I gasped and ran hugging Blake.

"Are you serious?"

He smiled and nodded. I hugged him back squealing then pulled away.

"What time is it?"

"About three thirty. Why?"

"Nothing just got to go get ready."

I dashed up stairs and rn into my bathroom starting the shower. I grabbed two towels and got out my curling iron and plugged it in. I jumped in the shower and started washing my body. After that I washed my hair and then shaved.

I got out drying of and walking outside and putting on my dress. I put on the overcoat and slipped on my shoes. I sat down and put a bit of makeup on then went to curl my hair.

When i checked the time it was 5:45 i put my phone in the pocket on the overcoat and walked out of the bathroom. Just then there was knock on the door. I walked over to it and slowly opened the door. There stood Jake and he actually looked nice.

He was wearing a blue button up shirt with some dark washed jeans. He had his arm behind his back. When i opened the door his head snapped up to meet my eyes. He smiled and gave me a quick kiss.

Then he gave me some flowers that were white and blue. I smiled and set them on the dresser and grabbed his hand.

"Its going to be somewhat of a long walk."

"Okay."

He smiled at me then surprised me by carrying me down the stairs. I laughed as he smiled at the passing pack members. When we got to the door Jake set me down and grabbed my hand again. We started walking and I started to wonder where we were going.

"Jake, where are we going?"

"To a place that you will love."

I rolled my eyes but followed him anyways. And boy was he right. It was beautiful. It was a clearing with a huge waterfall that led into a lake.

"Jake its beautiful."

I turned around and gasped. Jake was down on one knee with a small black box in his hand. Inside it was a a medium sized diamond with small ones beside it.

"Rylee, I have always had a crush in you since we were little. When i was sixteen i decided to tell your brother, which got me a punch across the face and a good kick in the shin. When i found out that we were mates i was thrilled. I was happy that it was me and not Jasper. I love you so much and would do anything for you. You are my everything and i don't know what I would do without you. What I'm saying is, will you make me the happiest man and wolf alive and marry me?"

I nodded not trusting my voice. Jake got up slipped the ring on my finger and gave me the happiest kiss ever. I smiled and pulled away.

"I love Jake. Forever and always."

His smule grew as he gave me another kiss. I laughed which made him laugh.

"Lets get back to the pack house before your brothers come looking for us."

I laughed again but we went to back to the pack house. Once we got there i was tackled into a hug by my brothers.

"Did he actually ask or did he chicken out. Let me know sis."

"He didn't chicken out Jaydon."

He smiled and kissed me on the head. Then Blake shoved him out of the way and looked at the ring and then a Jake.

"Good job bro."

Jake just shook his head and helped Jaydon up. I push Blake and hugged Jaydon.

"Hey i didn't mean to!"

"That's what you said when you took our teddy bear and ripped its head off."

He stuck his tounge out at us and we laughed. Jake suddenly looked panicked and looked behind us. I gave him a questioning look before i felt something hit me in the shoulder. I screamed out in pain as everything started to go black.

Jake's POV

When Rylee fell to the ground i shifted and stood over her in a protective way. Everyone else came out and shifted standing around us. The culprit came out which made me growl loudly. Jasper.

"What the hell Jasper!"

"He stole my mate from me!"

"She's not your mate damn it!"

He shifted and about ten rouges came out. I stayed in my spot as everyone started fighting. While they were distracted I saw Jasper come over to me. I told Jaydon to protect his sister while I fight Jasper.

We fought for a while before i finally had a hold on his neck. I quickly snapped it ending his life. No one tries to take my mate without going through me.

Everyone ran off making sure that the retreating rouges get out of the territory while the rest shifted back.
