Chapter 9

Jake's POV

"Damn that game was close."

"Yah I actually thought I was going to lose."

Blake laughed at my remark and my team ended up running back with the others chasing us. We all ran to our rooms and had someone following us. I slammed my door on Blake's face and laughed.

"Ha. You can't get me bitch!"

"Oh just wait!"

I laughed and turned around to see the girls still in here watching The Fault In Our Stars. They looked up and groaned.

"How many times are you going to be in here?"

"I can come in when I want. It is my room too you know."

"But you aren't supposed to be seeing Rylee until the wedding."

"Sorry but that can be solved."

"Yah you going to shower in Jaydon's room."

"Can't."

"Why."

"He's using it."

"How do you know?"

"The boys basketball team just got back from an intense game and Jaydon was on my team."

They groaned and i just mocked them. I grabbed my clothes and looked at them.

"You can always go to one of your guys' room."

They grabbed all their stuff and went to go kick Blake out of his room. I got in the shower and did all of that good stuff. After I got out I wrapped my towel around my waist and got dressed after I was completely dried. I left my hair the way it was and walked out.

"Did you enjoy your shower Jake?"

"What the fuck Blake?"

He smiled and walked away which made me tackle him. We playfully fought and Blake ruffled my hair.

"What the fuck Blake!"

"Jake! Blake!"

We looked at each other before going to my mate. She can be scary when she's mad.

"Yes babe?"

"Calm down okay."

"Okay."

We ran back to my room and then started to think of something interesting to do with our lives.

"Sarcasm, cause beating the shit out of people is illegal."

"Blake are you good?"

"Yeah that was just random."

I nodded as we thought about something that will be fun but its kinda hard when all you want to do is be next to your mate.

One of the boys that was on my team ran in panting and looking at us.

"Joel, what's wrong?"

"I found my mate. She's rouge but she's hurt very bad. Please help me."

We nodded and ran out to go help Joel and his mate.

Joel's POV (a little bit before he found his mate)

After the game I took a shower and laid on my bed. I was flipping through channels looking for something to watch when I noticed that I haven't ran in wolf form in a while. I turned off my TV and walked outside.

I shifted and tan around until i got to a clearing. Then I smelt the most amazing scent ever. I went to it but the shifted and put on some shorts.

My mate. I looked at her and gasped. She laid on the ground unconscious and had a huge gash in her side. Blood was pouring out. I picked her up and ran until i got to the edge of the woods. I set her down and ran inside to get Jake and Blake.

"Joel, what's wrong?"

"I found my mate. She's rouge but she's hurt very bad. Please help me."

They looked at each other and ran out. I showed them to her and they ran over to her. They picked her up and ran to the pack doctors.

It's been a hour since she had been in surgery and I was sitting in one of the uncomfortable chairs crying. Jake stayed with me telling me that it's okay.

"Joe, it's gonna be okay. But how did you find her?"

"I was in the woods running in wolf form when I smelled her. I shifted putting on some shorts and walked over to her and found her unconscious. I was shocked and it took everything I had not to break down right there."

He nodded and went back to looking at the floor.

The doctor came out and looked at both of us before sighing.

"Joel. Jake. I have some news...."
