*****one year later****

Rylee's POV

It's been one year since we had the baby and a little over a year since we were announced as the Beta Family. Jake is still the same as ever but is taking his position seriously. It was a healthy baby boy and we are on number two.

"Come on Aidyn. We at going to go see daddy and uncle."

He made a cute baby noise as I walked to Blake's office.

"Aidyn!"

Jake opened the door and grabbed Aidyn while he gave me a kiss.

"Hey. Jake get your a- butt in here."

I laughed as Blake quickly switched his words. Then Madison walked in with their baby girl.

"Addyson."

He walked over and held his daughter while him and Maddy walked into the office.

"Jake, you are dismissed."

I laughed as Jake handed me Aidyn and we made our way out of the pack house and to our house.

"So I've been thinking, since this one is a girl we should name her Adrianna."

"Or we can name her Marilyn."

"Why not Adrianna?"

"You named our son. I want to name our daughter."

"You win."

I smiled and just then we got home. We walked in and was greeted by Jaydon.

"Jd!"

"Rylee!"

Jake pulled me to his chest and placed his head on mine.

"Now that's dann cute."

"Hold on I got this."

I laughed as Jd took a picture. He is such a dork.

"You are such a dork."

"Thank you dear twin."

I laughed and turned to Jake hugging him. He kissed my neck then looked up and glared at my brother and his sister.

Jaydon already took Aidyn from me. I looked over at Aidyn to see him looking at me and Jake with sad eyes. I broke out of Jake's hold and grabbed Aidyn and hugged him to my chest.

"It's okay A. I got ya."

Jake walked over and wrapped his arms around me and pulled me and Aidyn to his chest.

"They make such a cute family."

"Number two is on the way and I can tell her brother is going to protect her."

"Why are you two dorks?"

"I don't know."

I held my baby boy and leaned into Jake.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I reached up and kissed Jake before looking down at Aidyn. He smiled his adorable smiled and grabbed my finger.

"Will you guys watch Aidyn for the night?"

"Sure thing."

Jaydon grabbed his nephew and waved before walking out. Jake pinned me to the wall and kissed me aggressively.

"So that's why you wanted them to watch Aidyn."

"I wanted to have you all to myself for the night."

I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck before placing my lips to his. He pulled away and kissed my mark making me moan. I felt him smirk against my skin and start leaving feather like kisses on my neck.

He picked me up and carried us to our room and laid me on the bed. That night was another amazing night with my mate and husband.

I got up and went to go take a shower before Jake woke up because he would only want to take one with me. Some say I'm crazy but I need some time alone from his possessive and protetiveness. It can get irritating real quick.

"Rylee?"

"Hold on."

I quickly got out after washing off and all that stuff and wrapped a towel around me. I walked out and saw Jake pacing the floor. His head shot up the second I entered the room before he ran and hugged me.

"Jake, I'm fine. I promise."

"Well after what Blake told me yesterday me and my wolf have been on edge."

"What was it?"

"Rouges have been taking wolves from packs and sometimes they will take the high ranking female ones and demand certain things in order for them to give the members back."

I kissed his cheek before walking and putting on clothes before it hit me. Aidyn.
I ran out and got a strange look from Jake. I ran outside and shifted into my wolf running toward my twins house where Aidyn was. I smelt Jake's scent behind me but I continued to run. I shifted putting on clothes before running inside to see Aidyn playing with Jaydon.

I ran over picking him up and hugging him to my chest. Jaydon went to say something but I growled a loud growl that scared me shitless. He backed up and nodded his head.

Jake ran in with shorts on lookimg around. He slowly walked over to me before wrapping his arms around me.

He whispered sweet nothings into my ear as I slowly calmed down.

"So Jake, what brought out Mother Wolf."

"The rouges taking members of the pa- shoot. I have to go. Keep my family safe."

He ran out the door shifting and running toward the pack house.

"So breakfast?"

"When are you not hungry?"

"Whenever I eat."

"You're weird."

My beloved twin smiled and ran to the kitchen. Aidyn giggled and we walked into the kitchen to see something that should not be seen.

"Ewwww!"

"You do it with Jake."

"But not when we have guests."

"Whatever."

"Save that for the bedroom. We're hungry but I don't want to see that."

"Fine."

I laughed as his mate started cooking some bacon.

"Bacon!"

"Oh no."

"Don't worry. We won't eat the bacon until it's ready."

"Good. Jake, Blake, and Maddie will be coming over for breakfast after the meeting g about who knows what."

"Ok good."

Jaydon danced around the kitchen to the song Promises by Calvin Harris and Sam Smith. I luaghed and played with Aidyn while he clapped.

"Mama."

Everyone went quiet.

"Did he just say his first word?"

"No. He's talked before. He said a whole sentence before."

"Really?"

"No that was his first word."

"Oh my gosh!"

"What are we so excited about?"

I looked over at Jake and Blake both really confused.

"Aidyn here saud his first word."

"I missed it?!"

"Calm down."

"What did he say?"

"Mama."

Jake's head snapped over to Aidyn and he smiled. He picked him up and spun him around before wrapping his arm around me.

"Can we have a kid Rebekah?"

"Soon. Real soon."
