Chapter 14

Jake's POV

It's been three years and Aidyn is four and talking a lot. His little sister is three and she is extremely close to Aidyn. They are practically inseparable. I was finishing up some work when Aidyn ran in giggling and holding his airplane in his hand. Marilyn ran in holding one of his other planes running with him. Then my beautiful mate came in with a smile. Aiden ran over to her and she picked him up. Marilyn came and hopped in my lap and played with the plane while I finished up my work.

"Dad."

"Yes Aidyn."

"Can we go play tag."

"Only if mom says it's okay. But ask if she wants to play tag too."

"Momma, do you wanna play tag if it's okay."

"We can go play tag but let dad finish work."

"Okay."

He came to my side and watched as I finished up my work. Blake walked in and smiled. I handed him all my work and his smile fell.

"Finished. Now I beleive you have to go take that to the pack house."

"Being Alpha is super hard."

But it's worth it."

"Indeed it is."

I laughed and hugged him. Rylee gave him a kiss and giggled as he wiped it off.

"Love you too little sis."

"Uncle Blake."

"Hey little man."

"I'm not little. I'm four years old."

As Aidyn says that he held up five fingers. Rylee put on down and Aidyn frowned before counting them then showing Blake.

"Four? Already?"

Aidyn nodded with a victory smile.

"I remember when you were only one and your momma was healing the gash that gave you that scar."

"I remember that day too. You healed dad after he faught a wolf to protect you. You both have a scar on your side only his is higher up."

"I healed dad?"

"Yup."

He smiled and jumped down and him and his sister ran to put their toys up.

"Come on momma and dad. We have to play tag."

"Go on mom and dad. Go play tag with Aidyn and Marilyn."

Rylee stuck her tongue out at Blake but ran down with the kids.

"You too dad. Go play tag with your kids."

"Okay but don't call me dad."

"But Aidyn calls you dad."

"Yeah but he's my son. That's different."

"And your point is?"

"Aidyn's my son so it makes since for him to call me dad but you my friend are the Alpha, my mate's big brother and my friend. That just makes it weird."

"Well you s-"

Just when he was about to say something I heard Marilyn and Aidyn scream. I ran off and to their screams which was just out side. I saw Rylee fighting two wolves by herself. Marilyn was hiding in the corner while her brother was in wolf form standing in a protective stance. I shifted and ran over to help my mate fight off the wolves.

I pounced on one that was in mid air about to attack Rylee from behind. I scratched his eye and bit down on his neck while he wasn't paying attention. I felt his body go limp and I dropped him and ran to the other one to held Rylee. The wolf had her pinned to the ground while she struggled to get him off.

I growled loudly and lunged at him. He never saw it coming cause I grabbed his neck and quickly snappee it before checking on Rylee. I laid down next to her and whimpered, nudging her with my nose. She moved and rolled over before getting up and trotting over to Aidyn and Marilyn. Aidyn growled but stood down when he saw it was us. He turned around and nudged his sister with his nose. She looked up and hugged all of us before shifting into her own wolf.

You're probably wondering why the hell our kids can transform into wolves when most transform at 12. Well you see one day they were playing in the garden with their doggs and some of the orphans when they watched all of their friends get seriously injured. It scared Marilyn so she ended up shifting. Aidyn got mad because the little girl he likes so much was being chaseeld by this wolf so he shifted in order to protect her. Perfect story for a perfect time. I turned around and saw Rylee with clothes for me. I barked and grabbed the clothes beforr going and shifting back. I put my clothes on just in time for Rylee to tackle me into a hug.

"I love you so much Jake."

"I love you too Rylee."

I hugged her to me and put my face in her hair. Our kids soon came and wrapped their arms around us.

"Momma. Daddy. The orphans are here."

"Daddy, that means Aidyn's crush is here too."

"Nuh uh."

I laughed but I knew that he really liked her. She is 3, the same age as Marilyn. Marilyn and Annabella are really good friends. And Annabella is the girl Aidyn likes.

Annabella ran out where we were and tackled Marilyn into a hug.

"Mari."

"Anna."

They hugged each other before my mate picked up Annabella and spun her around.

"Guess what Bella."

"What?"

"I found some people who want to adopt you."

"Who?"

"My best friend."

"Yay."

"Her and her mate will be here soon. Why don't you guys go play."

She smiled and the three kids ran around playing.

"It's good to know there is a family that wants to adopt her."

"It's always the best feeling for an orphan too. Knowing that they will get a family that will love them as if they were their own."

"Rylee, how did I get so lucky?"

"The moon goddess decided you needed a girl like me instead of someone else."

"Man am I happy about that."

I leaned down and gave her a kiss that was filled with passion and love. I pulled her closer showing every unmated male who Rylee belonged to. And she belongs to me.
