Imagine #8: Teresa

"Please don't fight them, Thomas," Teresa said.
You saw the Berg coming from the distance. "Darling, what did you do?"
"I'm sorry Beautiful."

You and Thomas ran back to the others. You all grabbed rifles and began shooting at the members of WICKED. But you all failed. Soon enough, you were all on your knees having your necks scanned. You watched Teresa, your Teresa, walk towards Ava Paige.

"Wait, I need to talk to someone," she said. Slowly, she walked towards you. She helped you up and gazed into your eyes. You were heartbroken that she would betray all of you.

"(Y/N), you can come with me. We can still be together. Just come with me. Please."
"Teresa, I love you but I can't. I would do anything for love and for you, but not this. Betraying my friends crosses the line. Darling, you've broken my heart." You glanced down at your half of the tattoo. It wouldn't be complete without her hand in yours.

She gently moved her thumb across your half of the tattoo and you did the same with hers. "Is this the end, Beautiful?"

"Only if we make it the end but I will only stay loyal to my friends."

She kissed you gently and you kissed back, knowing that you would not see each other for a long time. You felt tears escape your eyes as the Berg doors finally closed and swallowed up the image of your girlfriend.

She betrayed you all and you would continue fighting with your friends but you still loved her.
