This is set before the Maze

Thomas shut his eyes but he didn't fall asleep. He opened his eyes every so often to see if the others were awake. When he was sure everyone was asleep, he moved towards the vent in the room and crawled inside.

He had to see you. He missed you. Luckily, WICKED gave you your own room.

Thomas crawled through the ventilation shaft until he knew he was near your room. He jumped down and headed for your door. There were no guards around and he knew you would be right by the door to hear his soft knocking.

He was about to approach your door when he heard someone clear their throat. Slowly, he turned to see Ava Paige stood there.

"Thomas, where are you going?"

"I... I um," he couldn't find the right words.

"You were going to see (Y/N), weren't you?"

He nodded.

She stepped towards your door and swiped her access card. "Just make sure you get back before morning."

"Thank you."

She smiled. "There is no need to thank me. I know how much you love her."

With that, she turned and walked away. Thomas entered your room and hugged you.

"I missed you," you said as you kissed him.

"I missed you too."
