I walked into Granny's apartment to find her looking into someone elses window.
" Granny, I'm here, " I smiled down on the old woman.
She turned around, " Ruby, my child you must see this! " I was pulled over to a window to see a girl with long - I'd say 10 feet of - glowing hair.
" Granny, how does Lina have such long hair? " I asked, a little frightened.
" She is Rapunzel. You are Little Red Riding Hood, " my Granny tossed me a long, blood red cape with a hood on it.
" Granny, I'm not a fairy tale character, " I shook my head and put down the cape.
" But you are, and your brother is in great danger, he is becoming a wolf. We must find the book, " she started pacing around.
" Granny, Damon is not a wolf. "
" Not yet. Ruby, you see that girl, you must find her house and look for the book. Her mother was the queen of the Enchanted Forest, " Granny pointed to the girl in the window. Lina O'Haire. I kissed my Granny on the head, If it means so much to her, I'll asked Lina to help me find this 'book.' She pushed the cloak over to me, so I guess I have to take it. I put it on and got on to my bike, everyone was staring at me. Go to hell Toronto.

" Nina! I'm home, " I walked into the living room to find her sleeping on the couch. I didn't want to wake her up to I crept up to my room and had a tiny nap. I heard a growl. Literally, coming from the living room. Damon, Nina. I dashed to the living room, still wearing the cape.
" Damon! " I screamed. My brother was just about to hit Nina once more. His head jerked toward me, showing his glistening yellow eyes.
" Damon, don't touch Nina. I can help you, just come over here, " I calmed him down. Damon took a cautious step toward me. Then he dashed toward me, pulling me into a bone-crushing hug.
" What's happening to me? " he let go of me, his eyes back to their normal brown color.
" You're becoming a wolf. "
