Lily POV
I made my way to the library, to return the last five books I had rented. I loved the library, the quiet, the peace, the books. I entered through the door, pulling a wagon full of 30 chapter books.
" Lily, you're back! " Mr. Nadir greeted me. Honor Nadir is like a father to me. My own father couldn't care less about me.
" Hi, Honor, " I put the books back on the shelf where I found them, I knew this library like the back of my hand. I pulled out my favorite book: Creul Beauty by Rosamund Rodge.
" Again Lily? You've read that one so many times, " he pulled the worn out book out of my hands.
" But I love it too much to let it go, " I snatched it back.
" Oh Lily, you are the most interesting girl I've ever met, " he shook his head and continued stacking books.
" Thanks Honor. I'm gonna take this one, " I tucked my black hair behind my ears, dragging my wagon back home. I looked at my blackberry. Three messages from Isabelle. Sometimes I think she's the evil queen in disguise, always yelling, always jelous, always mean. I texted her back.
Issy: Where are you, nerd? We were gonna hang out and gossip about Lina and Nina.
Issy: It's been an hour, what the hell? Come on! This gossip can't wait
Issy: Stupid nerd, you're too late. Krystal left already
Lil' Lily: Hey sorry, at the library, I'll hang out tommorow.
Issy: Fine. But next time I won't be so nice...
I locked my blackberry and sat down to read. Page 1...

" Chapter 27, " I flipped open the book, hunger ached in my stomach but this book was so amazing. Oh crap! I have Wen-do classes in half an hour. I tied up my hair and put away my book. Eeeek! I'm gonna be late.
