"So, where to next?" I ask.
"Hm," my new friend taps a finger against her chin. "how about where I work? Me and my friends run a joint called Fairy's Tavern a few minutes away. Wanna go there and meet some awesome people?"
"Yeah, sure. I'll follow wherever you go."
We stood up and dived headfirst into the colorful streets, leaving the serenity of the beach behind. Natsu and his friend were already gone- not that we minded, of course. I hoped we wouldn't run into them again, but that changed soon enough.
"Ah, shit, but Natsu and his group will be there," Lucy tells me with a irked frown. "but I really want you to meet Erza and Mira..."
"Eh, don't worry about it. As long as he doesn't crack anymore terrible pick-up lines."

"Hey Mira! I got you a new Barbie doll!" Lucy yells at the top of her lungs as we entered the adorable bar.
I look at her in surprise but get myself conveniently distracted by the lush atmosphere of the restaurant.
It was set up on wooden that plunged into the water, so if you looked sat at the end of the restaurant you could look down at the ocean. There were handcrafted table cloths over the tables, lamps of all colors hanging from the ceiling.
The edge of Lucy's high heels creates loud taps on the wood.
"Really?" an excited face pops into view, with white hair and big, blue eyes. "oh my god, sweetheart! Welcome to Fairy Tail's tavern, I'm so happy to see another pretty face around here!"
A sudden shy feeling came over me as the older female approached me.
"Hello," I reply, a slight demure tone taking over my voice. She looked incredibly mature, a white-haired beauty with curves girls fight over. Hot damn.
"She wasn't like that a minute ago..." a snarky remark came.
"Natsu!" Mira scolds, her face darkening with indignation at his unwanted comment.
The flirt shrinks into his chair, regretting what he said seconds ago. I refrain from laughing at how quickly this girl could scare him.
"Do you want anything to drink, dear?" she buzzes sweetly. "It's on the house!"
"Oh, that's very sweet of you, but Lucy and I already drank some Jewels together just a few minutes ago."
Speaking of said blonde, who was now conversing with an intimidating redhead.
"Alright, but if you need anything, don't hesitate to call, okay sweetheart?"
"Yup!" I answer, smiling widely at the pure kindness that seemed to ooze from Mira's skin. I'm only one day into my vacation, and so many beautiful and kind people have already approached me. Mira leaves with another smile.
