Kai's POV
Garmadon is still at large , we had to evacuate ninjago and move to a small island . This is our new home now .
It's been months now , our city has built a new home . A funeral took place for Lloyd , it was devastating . We all wore green that day . I was in my room , we had just arrived home form the funeral and I immediately went up to the hotel room where we now live . We no longer have our powered now that Lloyd is gone and we will never get them back , but I want Lloyd back more . We were more than brothers , more than best friends me and Lloyd , I treated him like a partner . A lover . I know we weren't brothers by blood , but we were brothers by heart , so we had a deeper connection. I sat in the bed , letting the tears fall out from my eyes . I was mostly mad at myself , mad at myself that I couldn't protect him . The tears were a mix of sadness and the raindrops from the storm forming inside of me . I count hold it it , I let out a huge cry and hugged my knees . Will we ever win ?
