Coles POV
I was sitting and talking with the rest of the group until something came to my mind ," Hey , where's Kai ?" I asked ," I've not seen him for days !" " Oh yeah , he just wants some alone time . " Zane answered . " But why has he been so distant lately , I know we're all sad about Lloyd , but we have to keep things in the past , I'm just worried about him ." I replied . "Ummm...he told me why he was so sad , it was because , ummm...I don't think he wants me telling you this but he kinda liked Lloyd !" Zane explained . " Oh , well that's okay . " I said .
Kai's POV
I was still in my room all alone , in the corner of my room were all of lloyds old treasures , I got out of my bed and decided to look in there . I dogged deep inside the wooden box , until I found a book . It was a wooden book with lots of ripped out pages . I opened the book to the first page and then I read out a passage ,
I never wanted Kai to know this but I like him , not like fried like , not like brother like , more than that , I love him . I don't want anyone to know in case he doesn't love me back , I don't think he does , but if he does is like him to read this . He has always protected me , when I was a kid he saved me from dying , he saved me from Morro , he promised to look after me and he did , and I'm thankful for that .
I looked back up from reading that passage , I hugged the book tight in my arms and jumped onto my bed . I let out the first smile I had ever had in a long time . It felt good to smile . I'm just so happy that he loves me back . This has made me feel much better . I then cuddled the diary close to me and fell into a peaceful sleep .
