Chapter 38 - They might get indigestion

"Alright! So who's going in which car?" Jin asks, scrambling to get on top of his couch, eyes darting around the room while we all stood underneath his gaze.

"Hold up." I raise a hand, stopping my pink headed friend from continuing. "Who even has a car with them?" I glance around again to see only myself and Jin having our hands up.

"Alright then. Hoseok, Tae and..." Jin's finger drifts in mid-air over each of our faces till he points at a certain dark haired boy, "Yoongi! Can come in my car."

I felt my heart sink a little at the fact that we weren't going to be traveling together.

It's okay, you'll just have to see him there instead.

"Okay let's go!" I clasp my hands together, letting out a small laugh before heading out the door.

Jihee took shotgun beside me so that Jiyeon could spend more time with an annoyed Jungkook in the back. I could see him in the review mirror, rolling his eyes every so often while the blonde haired girl spoke...well shrieked into his ear.

"So why did you decide to invite the others?" Jihee questions, keeping her gaze forward. I could hear a faint irritation in her voice. I was a little shocked by her tone but shook it off, pretending like I didn't notice.

"...just wanted to all hang out as a group that's all." I mean it wasn't totally a lie, but I couldn't admit that I wanted Yoongi to be with us so I could spend more time with him, Jihee might catch onto my feelings then.

The rest of the drive was quiet, well in the front anyway. The back seat was filled with obnoxious noises from Jiyeon.

Soon enough we arrive at our destination, piling out of the cars and towards the entrance.

"Alright, I've already paid for the tickets so I'll go grab the wristbands, wait here." We all nod at Jihee as she grabs a whining Jiyeon, who protests that she wants to stay by Jungkook's side. Obviously she lost and was dragged away by her best friend to pick up the tickets.

"Remind me again why they had to come?" Jungkook grumbles, rubbing his sore ear from having to listen to Jiyeon scream in it for half an hour.

I shrug, "hey! You're the one that went on a date with her a month back."

Jungkook rolls his eyes, "okay one, I thought she was more quiet than this and two I was only looking for a fuck buddy but honestly she doesn't qualify for it anymore."

Just as I was about to scowl my idiotic best friend, a large hand creeps onto my wrist, holding it tight. I turn to find Yoongi who was busy looking off into the distance, ignoring my questionable stare.

Soon the girls came back, Jiyeon practically clinging to Jungkook's arm.

"Okay make sure to put them on your left wrist and we can head in." Jihee begins handing out the wristbands till she gets to Yoongi and I. Her eyes instantly fall onto Yoongi's hand on my wrist.

She regains herself. But the frown was prominent on her face.

"Okay lets go!" I quickly pull my hand away from Yoongi, angry at myself for causing someone to feel sad because of me.

I shouldn't act too close to him, no one knows I'm gay yet, nor if Yoongi even likes me as more than a friend.

We all enter after flashing our wristbands at the workers to prove we've paid before wandering over to the first attraction of the evening.

"I heard this one is super scary." Jin chuckles, Jiyeon clutches to Jungkook more causing a small groan to leave his lips from the tightening grip she had on him.

"Will you please let go of me already!" He grumbles, the blonde girl shakes her head,

"No! I might get eaten by a monster!"

"I don't think a monster will eat you, they might get indigestion." Hoseok mumbles under his breath. I watch as Tae giggles a little, earning a shocked expression from the orange haired boy. Tae slowly realises his actions and quickly turns his laughter into a blank stare, once again focusing his attention away.

I sigh,

So close. We've gotta keep trying.

"AHHHH!!! SOMETHING TOUCHED MY LEG!!! JUNGKOOK SAVE ME!!!!!!" Jiyeon squeals, practically on top of Jungkook at this point.

We were currently walking through a deserted mental asylum with zombies and ghosts appearing every so often but Jiyeon honestly sucked the fun out of it. She would scream over the slightest thing.

I kept close to Yoongi for most of the evening, wanting to spend all my time with him.

Taehyung would often cling to Jin since the rest of us were preoccupied with someone else but Jin had other plans as he would keep trying to shrug him off and leave him behind with Hoseok.

Jin, Jungkook and I made a pack to get Taehyung and Hoseok to at least talk with one another by the end of the night.

There had been a few times where Taehyung would grab onto Hoseok then realise what he was doing and apologise, trying to avoid him.

We saunter round a dark corner, entering into the psychotherapy ward. Suddenly deranged zombies and ghosts pop out on either sides of us from various directions, flaring their arms and making a grab for our bodies. I could hear Jiyeon screeching like a banshee behind me followed by Jungkook moaning at her to let go of him.

In front I spot Taehyung grabbing onto Hoseok's arm, forgetting yet again that the boy next to him wasn't Jin, who was too busy standing behind them grinning at how much contact he was making the two love birds have.

A hand held onto mines, as yet another loud clash came from the side. A man dressed in a bloody doctor's uniform with a chainsaw came rushing out, forcing the saw close to our legs and causing both Tae and Jiyeon to scream louder, if that's even possible.

I took notice that it wasn't Yoongi holding my hand but Jihee. She clung on, making me finally realise that she must also be scared.

Poor girl.

I give her hand a tight squeeze, reassuring her that everything was okay. It was hard to see her face properly since the asylum was so dark and very little light was given.

However I did notice there was a pair of eyes on me from behind. Staring, glaring even, into the back of my head before down at Jihee and I's locked fingers.

I gulp,

I hope I haven't started something that I shouldn't have.
