I'm not sure if anyone got the Flashback chapter. I don't think I explained it good. Basically, Lily is from Japan and has lived there her whole life, but when her family died, she lied about being from America and being new to the town. Here's her background.

As a kid, no one knew she existed. If any of you have seen Hetalia, she's kinda like Canada, except nobody remembers or knows her. She barely had friends growing up. Until she met Kagome. Her and Kagome actually did met on the internet and found out they lived near each other. That's how her family knows Lily. Kagome was her only friend as a kid. She was still her friend as she grew up, but she never knew about the well Kagome had until high school. In the very first chapter " Down the Rabbits Hole," Lily said " My friends were questioning Kagome as always," She means Kagome's friends. Kagome's friends, meaning Ayumi, Yuka, and Eri. She became friends with them when Kagome introduced her to them. Kagome called Lily her cousin since she was living with her and her family. They were really friendly to her and became friends with her. She didn't want anyone to give her pity when or if she told someone her backstory. She acted as if she was from another country, when really she's from Japan. She didn't want pity from anyone so she acted like she's a shy foreign girl.

I just wanted to clear it up, hopefully it makes more sense. I decided to do this because when I was rereading my story I became confused with my own mind. So just wanted to clear up just in case anyone else got confused.
