Ashton's pov.
It had been 2 weeks since Jamie had joined us and I had just about given up. She was making it terribly hard to focus as she constantly had me worrying.
It was a matter of days before I cracked and would have to send her back home. It was putting the band off and we didn't need that at this point in our careers.
She had been here for less than 15 days yet it felt like forever. Somehow every night she came back to the tour bus completely wasted and wouldn't talk to anybody for hours. Not that she did that much when she was sober.
Luke was still trying to get through to her. He had his mind set on getting her back to her old self.
It was Harry's birthday today and me and the boys were all invited to go along to his party at some club he had rented out. Of course I Would have to bring Jamie. I couldn't leave her to do god knows what, she probably wouldn't come back.
"Hey" I said to Jamie as she was sitting on her bunk.
"Hey" she said back emotionless
"We're going to a party tonight." I told her.
"Cool, have fun" she said
"You're coming with us"
"Ha. No I'm not" she stated
"For fuck sake Jamie. You're coming with us whether you like it or not" I said angrily. "Grow the fuck up and get over yourself" I regretted what I said immediately but she didn't even look like she cared. Her face still held her emotionless stare and she looked to be in deep thought. I was taken aback when a slight smirk adorned her face.
"Fine. I'll go." She said as I left the room.
Jamie's pov.
I didn't care much about whatever party I was being dragged to. But I decided I might as well make the best of it. I decided on wearing a simple little black dress and a pair of black flats.
"You ready?" Luke asked popping his head round the door.
"Yeah"
"Come on then" he said holding his hand out. I stared at his hand before ignoring it and walking straight past him hearing him chuckle slightly.
"You look beautiful by the way" he called after me.
I laughed at him. "Don't lie"
"Believe me, I'm not lying" he said
"Right." I said rolling my eyes.
I would never believe someone who complimented me. All those months of torment back in Australia led me to hate myself and to trust no one..
"Hey Jamie" Tyler the most popular boy in school had said to me as I was walking to gym class.
"What?" I had asked shyly.
"You're really pretty you know" he said making me blush slightly but also confusing me as I didn't think he knew who I was. "Pretty ugly" he laughed in my face and all his friends around him laughed along with him.
I remember I had ran off as quickly as I could to the girls bathroom locking myself in there and crying throughout the whole of gym class. I shook my head trying to forget about that day and what else happened. I tried to forget. it was weird how such a pathetic thing could get to someone so much.
I climbed into the taxi before Luke, sitting at the end starring through the window at the city as we drove past.
Once we got to the club we pilled out and walked straight through the entrance door and into the crowded room.
