twenty one

the cold air seemed to be warmer now as compared to in the morning. oikawa was all smiles, walking next to iwaizumi. the road was free of cars, and the pathways on both sides were dotted with occasional students.

"so, iwa-chan, you can see colours too, right?" oikawa asked.

"why do you ask?" iwaizumi asked.

"i'm... just curious," oikawa said after a slight pause.

there was a brief moment of silence before iwaizumi replied, "yeah."

another thoughtful pause.

"any idea who your soulmate might be?"

god, why is he so interested in this?

"no clue."

oikawa hummed, "i see."
