HANSEL
Tinignan ko ang aking sarili sa salamin, tinatamad at nanghihinayang sa aking nakikita.
A broken hearted boy wearing the ugliest striped shirt in the world.
"Hansel daliiii!"
Not for Millany though.
I gave up on worrying about myself at lumabas na lang ng kwarto, greeting Eric and Millany with a smile. Ang dalawang pumilit sakin manamit at pumunta.
"Gandang porma ah." I heard Ingrid's voice and my body just froze. "Bagay sayo pag nakaformal ka."
God damn it.
I turned to her and... Ayun. Napatango lang ako. Napatitig lang.
My heart is pounding so loud. Halong kilig at lungkot.
I'm glad na hindi kami awkward. Sobrang glad. And ilang beses ko nang inulit ulit sa ulo within the past 15 hours na I have to accept what happened. Na friends lang kami. Flatmates.
Pero for now, I can't.
"Soooo," Boses ni Millany.
Nakahinga ako ng malalim.
"Hiramin muna namin si Hansel ah!" Sabi ni Eric.
Okay. I think I need this. "See you later." Pinaalam ko kay Ingrid as fast as I could, and bolted towards the door.
"Are you sure you don't want to come?" Narinig ko pang sabihin ni Millany, pero alam ko na din naman ang isasagot ni Ingrid. " We'd have to love you with us!"
"Salamat Millany. Pero parang gusto ko lang mag stay at home muna eh." She smiled.
"Ingat ka dito ah?" Sabi ni Millany.
"Bye Ingriddd! Stay safe!" Paalam ni Eric. We closed the door and then he turned to me, "Dudeee, I forgot the last time na nakita kitang nakaporma."
"Ikaw din." He was wearing a polished coat. Between the two of us, siya talaga yung sanay manamit ng ganto.
"Okay guys we get it, gwapo na kayo. Tara na." Millany scurried towards the elevator.
"Gwapo? Talaga!" He chuckled, "Gwapo daw tayo! That's a first!"
Huminto si Millany at humarap samin, "Lalaki kasi lalo ulo mo pag lagi kang pinapansin."
