Chapter 17

Rick picked carl up and started running, to where otis said the farm would be, i was running right after rick. Shane was behind us, with otis, making sure that he was coming with us

Rick stoped for a moment, to hold carl better, he looked over his shoulder to see, if i was behind him

''Go rick, don't worry about me'' he hesitated for a moment, then begun running again

I couldn't run fast, because off my leg. Waiting for a minute, i started running again, hearing shane yelling at otis. I saw a farm right ahead off us, i ran faster, to keep up with rick. When we got closer to the farm, few people came out

''Is he bite?''

''Shot, your guy shot him. He said to find hershel, is that you?'' the older male, nodded his head and told rick to bring his son into the house

I was right behind rick, we went into a bedroom and rick layed carl onto the bed. Hershel told us to leave the room, i was about to leave, when i saw rick not moving. I grabed onto his hand, pulling him out with me

We walked out onto the balcony, seeing shane and otis running towards us. I turned around, looking at rick, he didn't seem himself. He looked up, seeing me watching him. His eyes were watery, i hesitated for a moment, then hugged him

I haven't hugged anyone else, besides daryl. Rick wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly. I signed, rubing his back, hoping it would calm him down a bit

''His going to be fine rick''  he didn't respond, only tightened his grip around me

I was standing outside with others, watching shane and otis drive away. Hershal walked back inside with otis's wife, i was about to go with them

''Taylor wait'' i turned around

''T-thank you''

''For what?''

''For being here'' i gave him a small smile

''Always'' with that i turned around and walked inside

I was sitting next to carl's bed, holding his hand, rubing small circles. Closing my eyes, i kept seeing that picture, off him falling onto the ground over and over again

I opened my eyes, when i heard footsteps stoping at the doorway, looking up, i saw rick holding lori

Letting go off carl's hand, i stood up, wanting to give them space. I stoped at the doorway, looking at the three off them. There a family and i should respect that, but i can't help wanting to be everywhere rick is

Knowing what lori did with shane, while rick was in the hospital is just...i don't even have words for it.
