When I woke up the next morning, I took in my surroundings and just smiled. I smiled at the thought if this being my new home in my new life.

I got out of bed and did my usual morning routine. I pulled on high waisted shorts and a crop top that said "Coke" on the front. I straightened my medium brown hair and put on light makeup.

Today, I was going to meet my new neighbors, well, neighbor. I live on the corner so there's only a house to the right of mine.

I rang the doorbell and waited for an answer.

"Hello" he said, more as a question. He was only wearing basketball shorts and he looks like he just woke up. I would be lying if I said he wasn't attractive. He looked about my age, tanned and toned abs and literally the most perfect muscles.

"Hi. I'm Kayla but people call me Kay. I just moved in over there," I motioned my hands to the direction of my house, "and I just wanted to get to know my neighbors better so if you don't mind, I am having a dinner at my house and I would love it it you could come." I asked.

"Of course I'll come. I'm Austin by the way." he said holding out his hand which I gladly shook. "I'm 18."

"Same!" I giggled, quite flirty if you ask me, but I didn't mean for it to be. My bad.

"So the dinner is at six. And there's no need to dress up, just a casual dinner with a casual new neighbor." I laughed.

"Alrighty, see you then Kay." he smiled an award winning smile and gave me a wave before shutting the door.

I walked back to my house and started preparing for the dinner.
