"Hey guys!" Austin greeted his friends. "This is Kay, my girlfriend. Kay, this is Alex, Rob, and Zach." he said, gesturing to each individual.

"Hi." I said shyly. I'm not comfortable around 1 guy I've never heard or seen before let alone 3 new guys. Then again, if Austin is friends with them they must be nice.

We were seated, ordered our food, and had a nice, normal conversation. Mostly them asking us when we got together and asking Austin why he's never let them meet me before. They were really cool guys and seemed like they couldn't hurt a fly.

Everything was going well until I got a phone call. From that 'unknown' number. I know I shouldn't have done it, but I answered it.

"Hello?" I shakily spoke into the phone, everyone at the table staring at me.

"Hey baby doll, did you really think you could hide forever?" Derek darkly said to me.

"Ju-Just leave me alone, you've done enough." I snapped into the phone.

"Why would I leave you alone babe? I need to take back what is mine."

By now I was outside the rest I reasturaunt, Austin standing by my side with confused eyes.

"I'm not yours. Why don't you just go find another girl to beat around?" I half yelled. After I said that last part, Austin's eyes automatically went from confused to worried.

He yanked the phone from my hands and put it to his ear, "Listen bro, you better leave my girlfriend alone. You've caused her enough pain already. Now fuck off."

Wow.

I have never heard Austin cuss. Ever. And I've been one of his best friends for months.

"After we eat we're going down to Verizon and getting your number changed. Turn your phone off until then." I obeyed what he said and we went inside and ate lunch, not letting the guys know who that was and why he was calling.

A/N

Ok. So Austin seems to be losing his patients with Derek. Not that he had any to begin with. But will Derek's harassment continue? Will Kay be able to handle all of this stress? Will Austin and Kay's relationship last very long?
