"So Kay, where did you live before?" Austin asked me.
"Jersey. Didn't you notice I have a little accent?" I laughed
"Is it like Jersey Shore? Cuz if it is, I'm out." he giggled.
"No worries, it's nothing like that. Those people are insane, except Pauly D. He's is amazing."
"I see. So why did you decide to move to Texas?" of course he asks the one question I never want to answer.
"Um...I wanted to change my scenery, just a little. Nothing too extreme." I explained. I know I lied but I don't know if I can trust him with that big of a secret yet. I just need time.
"I get it. I've been here my whole life. You'll have an amazing time here." he assured.
We finished our game of golf and headed home.
As we approached my door he spoke up.
"I never got your number."
"Here, put yours in too." we swapped phones and put our numbers in. I put mine in as "Kay Dallas-the main bae❤."
When I handed his phone back he just smiled and gave me my phone. He put his contact name in as "Austin Mahone- Señor Yummy Pants."
"Señor Yummy Pants? Really?" I laughed.
"You can't say its not true." he winked playfully.
"So I'll see you tomorrow?" he asked hopefully.
"See you tomorrow." I assured.
He leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug. I think I like him. Do I? Even if I do, I'm afraid I'll get hurt again and I don't want to go through that once more.
