Chapter 20

Nash's POV

When Kay came back, Austin was by her side.

Thank god!! Now I only have to get Cam to forgive Kay.

It wasn't Kay's fault. If I were in her position, I probably would have kept the messages a secret too.

"Cam? Can I talk to you in the yard?" I asked Cam.

He needs to make up with Kay.

We went in the yard and I just came straight out and said "Go make up with Kay. Now."

"Nash it's not that simple." he complained.

"How is it not simple? All you have to do is go in there and say 'Kay I'm sorry for being an asshole.'"

He just rolled his eyes.

"Look. Think about it. What would you do if you were in her position? What if you were getting beat everyday of your life from someone you loved and then when you finally escape them, they still find a way to torture you? You wouldn't be thinking 'oh let me tell my brother' would you?"

"Well no but.."

"But nothing. Now go. She needs you right now."

Cameron's POV

Nash is acting like he's my parent. But he's right. Kay does need me.

I went back in the house and saw that Austin was sitting on the couch, so Kay must be in her room changing or something.

"Kay? Can I come in?" I asked, knocking on her door.

"Yeah." I heard.

When I opened the door she was fixing the sleeve on her sweatshirt.

"Why are you wearing a sweatshirt?" I asked, sitting beside her on her bed.

"Got cold." she simply replied.

"Look, I'm so sorry. I guess I was just mad that you didn't tell me, but Nash explained to me why you most likely didn't tell anyone. Can you forgive me?" I asked.

"Of course." she smiled and we hugged.

When we pulled away, i looked down at my lap, but something caught my eye.

"What's that in your wrist?"

"No-Nothing" she said, fixing her sleeves to cover her wrists.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her sleeve up.

She cut again?

I did the same with the other wrist and saw more cuts.

"Why?" I started to tear up.

I love Kay so much, and to see her hurt like this again like in high school. It just kills me.

"I just felt so alone. No one wanted to talk to me and I didn't know what to do." She started crying.

"Come here." I said, pulling her in for a hug. "You should never feel alone. I'm sorry I made you feel like this. Can you promise me you won't do this again? Please?"

She nodded and pulled away.

"Now come on, let's all go get ice cream." I smiled and we all went to the little ice cream parlor down the road.

A/N

Yep. So Cam found out about Kay's cuts.
