"Ugghhh!"
I stretch my arms wide while yawning. I groaned, sitting upright. It was only seven in the morning, school doesn't start in an hour. The window was open, letting all the sunlight in. I do my daily routine and head to the bathroom.
After drying my hair, I finally head down the kitchen to cook some breakfast, just plain oatmeal. I was just drinking orange juice when Lacey texted me saying she'll be meeting me in school. It was half past seven when I looked at the time.
I kept thinking about last night. I guess I have to make a few changes now since I'm not going to be alone anymore in this house. Thanks to my dad, I'm going to have to share everything with a boy.
And that's when I realized.
Matthew, where the hell is he? Is he still sleeping?! I almost forgot about him. Didn't he set his alarm or anything? Now that I think about it, I didn't really tell him the time for school so I could leave him behind.
I went upstairs and opened his door, not bothering to knock. I went in and to see he was still sleeping. I approached him quietly and couldn't help but stare at him.
He was only wearing his boxers in his sleep. I couldn't help but snort at it. But I admit he has muscles. Especially the abs. I snapped out of realizing how perverted it sounded in my mind.
His mouth was a little bit opened and his eyes were shut. He looked so cute and peaceful in his sleep.
I went in his bathroom and took a cup and filled it with the cold water. I approached his sleeping form quietly and leaned in his face.
"Matty, rise and shine." I whispered gently, holding his cheek. He moaned but fell asleep again. "Matthew" I called again and this time his eyes slowly flutter open, showing his twinkling grey eyes.
When he was about to say something, I quickly poured the cold water on his face, making him flinch, sit upright and shout. I backed away and started laughing my ass off.
"Melody, what the bloody hell?!" He shouted, shivering from the cold.
"You looked so peaceful in your sleep, so I had to ruin it." I said, between my laughs. I then wiped an imaginary tears from laughter. My stomach was soon clenching.
He glared at me and stood up.
"You could've just woken me up like a normal person, god!" He exclaimed.
"Hey, don't complain on me. This is better than leaving you on your first day in school, right?" I said, looking at him. "This is me trying to be nice."
"Nice, my ass." He muttered to himself angrily while trying to wipe his face with the now damp blanket.
"Excuse me?" I snapped.
"What time is it then?" He frowned, ignoring what I said.
"It's 7:35, school starts at eight so hurry up." I told him.
"You could've woken me up earlier too, you know."
"Well, I was debating whether I should or shouldn't leave you behind." I shrugged.
"I've only been here one day and you're already tormenting me." He said, walking to the bathroom. "Just wait for me downstairs." He added.
I was about to leave but not before calling him.
"Matt."
"What?" He turned around.
"Nice boxers, by the way" I winked at him, chuckling.
