Need to know

After a few stunned faces turn to me, after creating the vines up the wall, I turn to look back on where Bellamy is.

Bellamy is standing in front of the dropship talking to a girl with blonde hair. I listen in to there conversation.

'Bellamy, I don't know what it is but I don't think we should trust her.' She says wearily.

'Clarke, look, she saved all of our lives and is trying to help our survival down here, I know we don't know anything about her, but we have to trust she is on our side' Bellamy defends.

I decide to walk up to them. As Clarke begins to walk away I say 'No, we all need to talk'. She looks at me and walks behind me, along with Bellamy following me inside the dropship.

I stay still listening for any heartbeats near by other than us three, and fortunately I hear nothing.

'I know you both have a lot of questions for me but it is important that we keep this as need to know information. If many people know it means that we do not have an advantage.' I look to them both, they look at me inquizatively.

'One hundred years ago, a team created by an organisation named S.H.I.E.L.D put together a team of extraordinary people, who would defend the planet and stop another organisation named HYDRA. The team was called The Avengers.' I pause to gauge their reactions.

'Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Spiderman, Ironman, Thor, Hulk and so many others were part of this team, and still are. My father is Tony Stark, who is Ironman, I am a lesser known avenger named 'Spectrum' due to the variety of my abilities'

'Wait, you mean that the superheroes that were alive back then- somehow survived?' Clarke answers.

'Yes, my father and I collaborated and created a station of our own, that remained invisible to your scanners for the entire duration in space. I helped making a cryo-stasis chamber for all the avengers and their families to be made frozen, to wake up when it was time to come back to earth. I was re awoken every 25 years or so but last year I decided to remain conscious for one year, to analyse the planets vitals, collect data on your arc and to talk with personnel aboard.' I answer her.

'Even in cry- stasis or whatever it is, shouldnt everyone have aged or?' Bellamy asks.

'Yes people aged by only a few years, where as I stopped my aging at age twenty'

'How?' Clarke asks shocked.

' I must have forgot to mention. I am a witch, werewolf, vampire hybrid with other extra abilities I received from accidentally absorbing some wild radiation particles when I was six.' I tell them with a short laugh as I notice their eyes widen in shock.

'Don't worry, I only have to drink blood once a month minimum. Although if I transform into a werewolf I will need extra. My powers from my witch side are purely earth based meaning as long as I am touching at least one part of the ground my body can refuel that way too.' I say.

'I never thought that the supernatural existed, werewolves, vampires, witches. This is all crazy. That means other creatures exist too, like banshees, mermaids, fairies?' Clarke sounds scared.

'No, no, no. They don't. It's more along the lines of ghosts and evil spirits. Had to deal with a little bit of those when I was younger, nothing major and anyways, life was wiped out, no more witches, vampires or werewolves could be alive now, the blast waves would have killed every last one of them, meaning that I am the last survivor out of all the groups.' I say disheartened.

Bellamy and Clarke still remain shocked about everything I just said.

'Look I know that this is alot to take in and you will probably have loads more questions later but you need to trust me, I would never hurt anyone here, I use my abilities for good, and right now I really want to give my family the all clear to come down here so, I will need to leave camp for a while.' I say strongly.

'Bellamy, you and Clarke stay here, make sure everyone is helping in the building, I need to leave camp to send the beacon that we arrived safe.' I say

'I want to come with you' Bellamy says.

'Why?' I ask

'If you leave on your own you will be vulnerable to whatever is out there. If we go as a pair, you will be at less risk of being hurt.' He says with concern.

I smile nonchantly towards him. 'Okay, Clarke, could you keep the camp working together, we won't be long. Any problems don't hesitate to contact me.' I say as I open up my backpack and find a set of radios. Handing one to Clarke and keeping one on me. I turn them both on and clip one to my belt. I show her how to work it. She nods in understanding.

We step back to the outside. I put my backpack on and walk through the front gates, alongside Bellamy. Walking on the bumpy and rough terrain. I remain silent.

'What did you mean when you said that you communicated with us on the arc?' Bellamy asks seriously.

'I created a computer program that allowed the crew to interact with a non-existent program, similar to something I had back in my time, something called clever-bot. Except I named my program 'Desire'.

'Desire?' Bellamy asks.

'Yeah, as in everyone has a desire to talk to someone without someone actually feeling like someone else knows their stuff, you know.' I look at him reflect upon my answer.

We continue walking until I begin to notice a clearing.
