"This place isn't your scene (Y/N)." Joe frowned.
"I know, but it's Chad's."
"I don't understand what you see in that guy! He's a complete asshole."
"I'm gonna marry him when I turn 18."
"What?"
"My parents and Chad's have this thing. Chad's parents have an heirloom from my great great grandparents and, in order to retrieve it and restore the family name, I have to marry Chad."
"So...there's no hope for us, is there? Like if I liked you and wanted to date you, maybe someday marry you, it couldn't happen?" Joe frowned.
"I'm afraid not...but I like you too." You said softly. Joe grabbed you by your waist and pulled you to his lips.
"I'm sorry." You said. You removed yourself from Joe's grasp, kissed his cheek, and walked back into the house. Joe watched your retreating form, any hopes for a future with you crumbling before his eyes.
Now, On Fall Out Boy Imagines 5...
"Mom please, I don't love him." You sobbed, your mother stood in the room with you zipping up your dress.
"Mommy! Please." You begged. Your mother looked up at you with red eyes.
"I'm sorry sweetie but it's for the best." She promised. Her hand wiped away the fallen tears on your cheeks, that were soon replaced with more. Your body shook with the sobs.
Today you turned 18.
"I'm not going out there, I can't!" You exclaimed. You wanted nothing more than to claw yourself out of the beautiful wedding dress. This wasn't your wedding day. It was your judgement day. Three knocks came and your father opened the door.
"(Y/N), they're just about ready for you." He sighed. You threw yourself at your father in a last ditch effort.
"Daddy please! I don't wanna get married to Chad. Let's just forget the heirloom and go home." You pleaded. Your father took you in his arms and hugged you tightly.
"Everything will be fine (Y/N). Maybe in time you will learn to love Chad." He mumbled. You pushed away from your father, rage in your eyes.
"I will never learn to love him, never!" You growled. Your mother wiped your face again and reapplied your make up.
"Hurry out darling. I'll buy you 10 minutes." Your father said. Both of your parents left and you turned to the mirror. Your eyes were red and your face looked tired.
"Happy birthday to me." You sniffled. You were about to put on your heels and walk out to face your fate, when the door opened. You turned to see the last person you expected to see.
"Joseph." You gasped. Joe wore a grey beanie containing most of his curls and a black suit.
"I had to see you, ya know, before you got out there and put on a show." He said nonchalantly. You ran to him and wrapped your arms around his neck. Joe's hand instantly found your waist, pulling you as close as possible.
"I thought I could do it. I thought I could suck it up and do it for my family, but I can't. I want to go home." You sobbed, taking deep breaths between your words.
"Then let's go." He said. You looked up at him, tears of hope shining in your eyes.
"You mean it?" You asked.
"I'm not letting that asshole lay claim on what's mine. I love you (Y/N), always have and always will. I want to be your husband someday. I want to make you happy. I was made for you." You smiled, more tears escaping. Joe wiped them away and brought your lips to his in a short, sweet promise.
"Let's go." He grinned. You nodded taking Joe's hand in yours. You two ran out of the small church, Joe helping you hold up the train of your dress. You got in Joe's car and smiled as he drove away. Away from the church, away from your parents, and away from Chad. You looked over at Joe who had a small smile on his face.
"You're my savior." You stated in awe. Joe glanced over at you and took your hand in his free one, bringing it to his lips.
"Where to princess?" He asked.
"Anywhere, it doesn't matter as long as I'm with you." You concluded, laying your head on his shoulder.
