A/N: ah yes, maybe my 5th Christmas preference for these 4 men. No, it will never end.
Patrick:
"Diana, I swear to God if you don't get up I'm gonna scream this whole house down." Declan threatened. You and Patrick heard the commotion from downstairs and made your way up to the noise.
"Declan, please don't scream, or else Santa's gonna come back and take the presents away." You warned. Declan rolled his eyes,
"First off mom, I'm 11. I know the big red guy is just a hoax. Secondly, I'd like to see him try and rip my presents from my clutches." You looked at your son wondering what went on in his mind.
"Ana, what's up sweetheart? Everyone's just waiting for you to open presents." Patrick sighed, knocking on the 18-year-old's door.
"I should've just stayed in Pennsylvania! I come home and everything sucks!" She cried.
"Diana, Penn State is out for break. Where were you gonna stay?" You asked.
"I don't know but it's better than being here!"
"She's just being a teen again. Can I open my gifts now, please?" Declan smiled. Patrick patted his head and sent him downstairs to go check on the Christmas cookies.
"Diana, we're coming in," Patrick said, slowly opening the door. Diana sat on her bed, eyes puffy with tears.
"Oh Ana, what happened?" You frowned, sitting next to her.
"I-I think Zander and I broke up? I mean, I'm not sure but it looks like it and he's been avoiding me and not answering my texts and I can't believe he'd do this on Christmas!" Diana broke down into your shirt as you rubbed her back.
"What do you mean you think, Diana? You gotta explain stuff like this." Patrick was straight-up confused and he didn't even try to hide it.
"Look at his Insta post!" Diana shoved the phone into her father's hand. The picture showed Zander out with a group of people, all smiling at the camera.
"Diana, is this supposed to be proof?" Patrick asked.
"Dad, oh my god, read the caption!" She groaned.
Happy holidays to my ho-ho-hos
"His hos? And look at that girl standing next to him, she's like a million times prettier than me and way nicer than me. I should've gone to school local like he did." Diana sobbed.
"Diana, baby, I'm sure this is just a huge misunderstanding. Come downstairs open your gifts and maybe you'll feel better."
"You're right Dad! Once I get downstairs I'll post a picture with all my friends from college and get him jealous too!" Diana bounced out of bed and ran to the bathroom.
"I don't think that's what Dad meant, Di!" You called out.
"Dammit, she has your listening skills." Patrick sighed.
"Yeah, sorry about that." You apologized.
After opening presents and eating cookies, you, Patrick, Diana, and Declan all sat on the couch, watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas in your matching pajamas. The doorbell rang, interrupting the laughter.
"Declan, get the door?" Patrick asked. Declan groaned and trudged towards the door. He opened it to see Zander in a hoodie and Star Wars pajama pants.
"Um, Diana, I think it's for you." Diana walked to the door and her eyes widened seeing Zander there.
"Oh, hey," Diana said nervously. Zander smiled, leaning on the doorframe. Unknown to Diana, you, Patrick and Declan were listening in to the conversation.
