Not So Perfect

Chapter 5 - Steamy Shower

I laughed because I don't think anyone else could make getting pregnant from someone you barely knew sound manageable. After I finished laughing I picked up my phone and saw my pain meds were ready to be picked up. I told Daniel we could get them and I'll drive him to his car at the party still. He said that would work.

I went to his bathroom to get ready when I saw my hair and makeup was everywhere. I asked him if i would be able to shower. He said to give him a minute.

Ten minutes later he comes back with a bin full of stuff. It had a pair of leggings, soap, and a hair brush all of which he stole from Abby. When I saw it I smiled knowing he actually cared that I would have everything I needed to be happy. The hugged him and took the bin from him and went into the bathroom.

I turned the water on so it could get warm. I was standing in front of the mirror standing in my bra and underwear just looking at myself and the now eight hickeys on my neck and clavicle. I wondered how so much had happened in such a short amount of time. I was about to take the rest off and get in. The door opened and Matt said

" I forgot a towel for you."

I responded loudly "get out"

He had been on his phone and hadn't realized I was standing there practically naked. He looked at me hiding in the shower curtain which I realized was a little more transparent then I realized as the thick curtain in the shower did most of the covering.

I watched his eyes scan me and take it all in. He sat his phone down on the counter and pushed the curtain away from me. I then covered myself with my hands. He looked at me with the biggest eyes I've ever seen anyone look at me with and he said

" You don't have to cover yourself. You are more beautiful than you think."

I looked at him like I was about to punch him. He picked up on that and went to leave and as he was leaving I turned around and I guess he turned around to just look one last time when he realized it was a thong I had on. This was just too much for him not to act on. He loudly said

" Nope. Not done yet" while running up to me pulling me into his arms.

Kissing me almost immediately, I kissed him back with almost as much ferrousity. I felt his hand going down my back to my butt. He surprised me when he squeezed it. I jumped a little and he chuckled. I felt something cold under me. I peeked out my eyes and noticed that I was now sitting on the sink vanity.

I pushed my face apart from his, but not far because I rested my head on his forehead. He seemed happy about his current location. I wrapped my arms around his neck. We knew if we wanted to get anything done we would need to stop now. I hopped off the counter and pushed him out the door.

I locked it and got in the shower. I thought to myself about how much my life in one night is completely different. I chose to think it was a change for the better. I went to get dressed when I realized all I had to wear was Daniel's hoodie. I put it on and went out the bathroom to ask him if he had any other shirts I could borrow. I hadn't put the leggings on yet. He said he didn't have anything else. I found that hard to believe. I walked over to his closet opening the and said

" none of these will work?"

"No none of them will look that good."
"Really?"

"Yep that's pretty damn hot on you so you can't beat that"

"Huh. Ok well I'm going to go put pants on."

As I was walking back into the bathroom he slapped my ass while walking past him. I changed and after another 20 minute make out session we left to go get his car and my medicine finally. We stopped by the pharmacy first as it was on the way.

When we got to the house the party was at. His car wasn't there. We drove around the block to see if he parked somewhere else. It was no where to be found. We went and knocked on the door of the house and the host answered.

He said a car had gotten towed this morning for being in the no parking zone from 7am to 6pm. We called the police station and they said he would have to go to the station to get any information. We drove there, he wasn't angry but disappointed in himself.

He explained to me that his parents told him that if he had a perfect driving record for the year he would be allowed to get a brand new car of any he wanted within reason. When we pulled in I asked him if he wanted me to come in with him. He told me I could if I wanted too. So, I followed him into the station. I followed him in and saw Emily at the front and said hello as my job over the summers was volunteering at the station.  

She told me that Ryan was in the lounge if I wanted to go back. And I said I wasn't here for fire. Daniel explained that he need to get his car. She told us that the city lot was full and it had gone to the state lot.

Sadly, she informed us that he would need to get there by six to get the car or it would be stuck there for the rest of the weekend. It was 2:30 so he would need to get on the road soon. As we was getting the address and numbers for the car I saw Ryan walk out to the desk. I waved hi and he motioned for me to come back. I motioned to Daniel I would be back there and for him to have Emily send him back when he was done. I went to the lounge seeing David and Phoenix watching a show on tv. I sat down and started talking to them. They asked who I was with. I told them a friend and when David went back to the show Ryan pulled me into the kitchen and said

" Really. Who is that?"

"He's a friend. I swear"

"A friend that gave you these?"

He said while pulling down the hoodie to reveal five of the hickeys.

" Ok. Maybe more than a friend."

" Be careful. He seems off to me"

"I will you know I am"

I felt Daniel's hand come around my waist.

"Hey, You ready?"

"Yup, lets go."
