The next morning, I woke up with my body curled into Harry's, his arm wrapped tightly around my waist. I had to blink multiple times to make sure that I wasn't dreaming, and when I realized that this was, in fact, reality, memories from last night came flashing back. How he had gotten with Anna, and he had begged me to stay with him--and then begged me not to break her heart, like she had.

I had no idea what he had meant by that, and I had no idea whether or not I should ask him about it. Chances are, he probably wouldn't remember saying it, or if he did, he would just lie. In the few months that I had known him for, he had never expressed such vulnerability around me, and I was sure he was going to be embarrassed about last night. I was also sure that he was going to be confused when he woke up spooning me in my bed, which was exactly why I decided it was best to get out immediately. Unfortunately, that was easier said than done.

I wasn't sure what kind of dream he was having, but when I tried to move, Harry only tightened his grip around me. I could feel my heart beginning to race as I tried again, only to gain the same results. Finally, I figured that there was nothing else I could do, and I may as well enjoy my rest while I had it, being the last day of the weekend.

Unfortunately, my rest was disturbed what felt like minutes later. All of a sudden, I heard Harry hiss "What the fuck" from behind me, and he immediately shifted his body away from mine. Okay, I understood the confusion, but it wasn't like I was contagious. He was being a little dramatic.

"You're....I'm in....Did we....?" His voice trailed off, but I could tell by his panicked expression that he had a million questions. He was looking at me like I was a complete stranger--but it felt like the only stranger was him, completely different from the person he had been last night.

"We didn't sleep together," I assured him. "Relax. You just didn't want to go to your own room last night, so you fell asleep here."

His expression remained alarmed, and I watched as his cheeks turned a bright shade of pink. "Did I say anything....weird last night?"

I hesitated as memories from last night came rushing back once again.

I don't want to be alone tonight.

You're so, so pretty, Alyson. Too pretty.

Please don't break my heart like she did.

Any of those things could have been used as an answer to his question, but I had no idea how he would react, and I wasn't looking to put him in an awkward situation. Instead, I just shook my head and gave him a tight-lipped smile. "No, don't worry. I mean, I was drunk too, so I can barely even remember."

It was an obvious lie, and Harry didn't look convinced, but thankfully, he didn't push it. "What happened at the party? Did I do anything stupid?"

I blinked. "You seriously don't remember?"

Harry groaned and shoved his face into my pillow. I clapped my hand over my mouth to keep me from giggling. "Just rip the band aid off, Alyson."

"Well...." I sighed. "You kind of hooked up with Anna."

He immediately jerked his head up and grabbed my arm. "You're kidding. You're just pranking me, right? I didn't....Anna would never...."

"No, you did," I told him. "In front of everyone, just doing it on the couch. Not sex, I mean....obviously, because you ended up in bed with me. I mean, not like we had sex or--"

"Just stop talking," Harry groaned. "Shit. Shit, Alyson. This is bad. Who initiated it?"

"Um. I'm not really sure. One second I was dancing with Roger, and the next you two were going at it."
