Saving Tatsumi's Ass

YN's pov

Tonight is the night that we bring Tatsumi back. I just hope he hasn't accidently said anything he shouldn't have. Just then, I heard someone enter the room.

I turned to see Akame. I plan on confessing to her in the near future. First things first though. Tatsumi is our priority.

"Hey YN. You ready?" Akame asked approaching me.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I answered.

"Good. We head out soon." Akame said as I nodded.

After everyone was ready, we headed out. I was jumping from tree to tree while under Eagle Eye's invisibility. I kept my eyes out for the brown haired lad.

Just then, I saw him with a guy with a flamethrower and someone who smelled like fish. Yes I could smell it from where I was. I prepared a paralysis arrow.

The one with the flamethrower would be easy to take care of. It's the other one that concerns me. For all I know he could have a rather powerful imperial arm.

I shot the arrow and caught him in the leg. This caused the pyro to turn towards my direction. I jumped away before he used his flamethrower.

I noticed Tatsumi took that distraction to activate Incursio to get away. Really should learn to hide that aura though. I turned back to see the fish smelling guy had somehow removed the arrow.

"Grand Chariot!!" he shouted as I sighed.

Of course he has Incursio's speed based cousin. He took off after Tatsumi. I jumped down to Night Raid.

"Follow me. Tatsumi could be in trouble. I don't know how that guy got past the paralysis." I explained to the group who nodded in response.

We took off in the direction Tatsumi went. When we got there, Tatsumi was cornered by the guy. I readied Eagle Eye while Mine readied Pumpkin.

I shot past him to get him to turn in Mine's direction. Well he was distracted Tatsumi got away. Mine then fired Pumpkin and the guy just barely dodged. It definitely hurt him though.

After the guy retreated, I ran towards Tatsumi's aura. When I got to him I punched him in the stomach. He knelt to the ground to get his bearings.

"That was for making us worry so much" I said before offering him a hand which he accepted.

Night Raid showed up not long after. Akame and Leone both hugged Tatsumi while Mine decided to keep playing Tsundere.

I decided that tomorrow would be the day I confessed to Akame. I walked up to her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned to me and gave me her full attention.

"Akame, there's something I would like to tell you. Can you meet me by the same lake you comforted me tomorrow" I asked to which she nodded

"Okay. I'll see you there" she said before walking back to the base.

Leone walked up and gave me a pat on the back as if to say 'good luck'. I mouthed thank you to her to which she nodded. I was nervous as hell.

"I really hope I can do this"

AN: I'm back! It was bugging me to leave this story unfinished. Plus I just recently got back into Akame Ga Kill so I decided to continue this story. I really hope you guys enjoy and I will see you in the next chapter.
