Losing a Friend

YN's Pov

While Tatsumi and Leone were on their mission I was jumping from tree to tree back to the base with Sheele and Mine. I had Eagle Eyes invisibily on and was keeping an eye out for enemies. Just then I saw a familiar face. Seryu. I readied Eagle Eye and shot the branch she was standing on.

Mine and Sheele unfortunately were right beneath her. They luckily jumped out of the way in time.

"Damn it. That bitch wasn't supposed to stick the landing."  I said to myself.

"Whoever that was that shot the branch I was on come on out." Serya demanded before turning her attention to Mine and Sheele.

I had a notepad and pencil with me. So I thought I would mess with her a bit and wrote "Go Fuck Yourself!" before throwing the notepad which hit her upside the head.

"Ow. What's this?" Seryu asked before throwing the notebook away.

"Doesn't matter. I recognize you. Sheele of Night Raid I presume. I'm Imperial Guard, Seryu Ubiquitous. In the name absolute justice I will banish you from the world at once." Seryu said with a sick sadistic smile.

Seryu went on to explain how bandits were responsible for her father's death and then went on to talk about Captain Ogre.

"Since you're so eager to fight us. I'll make this quick." Mine responded while aiming Pumpkin at Seryu.

Coro jumped in the way and I was curious as the why. When the smoke cleared. The Dog was ten times as big and the holes in it healed.

"Well that's going to be annoying." I said as I went beside Coro and released an arrow.

The arrow went straight through the mutt and caught Seryu in the shoulder. The bitch then screamed in pain.

"Okay. So shooting won't work at this distance. Coro. Feeding time." Seryu said as the dog lunged at Mine and Sheele only to be cut down by Sheele.

The fight then went into the woods. And just when I thought that mangy mutt couldn't get bigger it does. I saw it going for Mine so I aimed at it and released the arrow, it didn't even flinch. Then I saw Sheele jump in the way and get bit in half. At that point, my mind went blank and all I could see was red.

I unleashed a barrage of arrows on this oranged hair whore. I actually saw them start to panic as I kept moving to make sure they didn't couldn't find me.

Mine also lost it and joined me in unleashing hell on this bitch. When all was said and done Seryu had lost both her arms and Mine was injured. After we left the battlefield my body seemed to act on instinct and I hugged Mine without thinking.

She didn't push me away however. Instead she started sobbing into my chest while I hugged her tighter. After a few minutes we continued on our way.

When we met up Tatsumi immediately realized Sheele was gone and put two and two together.

"Who did this? Mine. Tell me now."  Tatsumi demanded.

"Why do you want to know so bad." Najenda asked as I flinched slightly.

"So we can get revenge why else?" Tatsum i shouted.

Their argument went on but I didn't hear anything. All I could think about was how useless I was in that fight. I then saw Bro punch Tatsumi in the jaw and start shouting at him. I felt something in me snap.

"ENOUGH!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as everyone turned to me in shock.

"I JUST WATCHED SHEELE GET BITTEN IN HALF DESPITE ME DOING EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO PREVENT IT. ALL OF YOUR BITCHING ISN'T HELPING THE SITUATION SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET YOUR ASSES BACK TO THE BASE, BECAUSE I AM REALLY NOT IN THE MOOD TO BE DEALING WITH THIS BULLSHIT!!!"

After that I just decided to go back to the base on my own leaving them in complete shock.

Akame's pov

I was absolutely shocked when YN who is normally so calm and collected just snapped all of a sudden. I was worried about him more than anything and seeing him like that. It felt like my heart just shattered

AN: I dreaded the day I would be writing this chapter, I didn't want to kill Sheele off but I only plan to save one character and she wasn't the one.
