Spying on the Capital

YN's pov

I was helping Akame with cooking. That girl is the closest I've seen to a pure carnivore. When I heard the boss talking to Lubbock.

"Don't worry I think Sheele will take a liking to him." The boss said as she took a bite out of an apple.

"Why do you say that" Lubbock asked while crossing his arms.

"Tatsumi's quite popular with older women" Najenda responded while I raised an eyebrow.

"Yep. That's why I called dips on training with him next." Leone said with excitement.

"I guess that means I'll be training with you next time right, Akame?" I asked as I turned to her.

Akame nodded and then went to Najenda suggesting something for lunch. Najenda agreed to it. I decided I was going to gather some information on the capital and who we're dealing with. Then I heard Lubbock shout.

"Ahh! That's such bullcrap!"

"Want some advice Lubbock?" I asked walking up to him.

"Yes. Please." Lubbock said while his eyes lit up.

"First of all. Stop being a pervert. There are very few girls out there that actually like perverts if any. I haven't seen any. Second. Stop caring so much about physical appearance. There is so much more than just that. Physical appearance has never been something I look for." I suggested.

After I explained my advice to Lubbock, everyone turned to me in shock. I guess they didn't expect me to answer the way I did. I then turned around to leave.

"I'm going to the captial to pick up some groceries and maybe do a little digging." I said as I opened the door.

"Alright. See you soon." The boss said as she waved goodbye.

Before I left I felt someone grab my hand. I looked over my shoulder to see that it was Akame. I turned around and gave her my full attention. She surprised me by pulling me into a hug. I looked around and saw everyone smiling at me.

"A-Akame?" I stuttered blushing at her actions.

"Just be careful. Okay, YN" Akame said as she pulled away.

I couldn't keep the smile off my face. Night Raid has been the closest thing I've had to a family since I lost mine. So the fact Akame is concerned about me just warms my heart.

"Don't worry. I will." I reassured her before walking out the door.

Timeskip to the capital

I had already activated Eagle Eye's invisibility before I got here. I knew the first person to spy on would be General Esdeath. All this bitch is and ever will be is a puppet, always blindly following orders and never bothering to ask questions.

When I found the blue haired sadist. I found her sitting on a throne with a naked man wearing a collar licking her boot.

"Okay, I'm not one to kink shame, but I am shaming this kink. That is disturbing." I said to myself as I watched her kick the man in the face.

Next, I went to the palace to spy on our ultimate target. I've never seen the emperor or prime minister in person but with the bullshit that has been going on, I definitely don't like them.

When got to the palace, I saw a...kid sitting on the throne. Who in their right fucking mind appointed a kid as emperor. I knew the old man beside him was most likely the prime minister.

"Isn't that right minister?" The kid asked the fat bastard.

"Okay. So the prime minister has been using the kid's lack of experience to pull all of this fucking bullshit." I shouted in my head.

After I got all the information I could, I went and bought the ingredients for dinner. Then, I saw Tatsumi and Leone get separated in an alley. Knowing full well Leone could take care of herself I decided to follow Tatsumi.

When I went around the corner I heard Tatsumi talking to someone.

"Actually I think I remember the name of the place." Tatsumi said.

"I can help you find it. I'm on patrol anyways." The girl said.

I decided to make my presence known. I undid Eagle Eye's invisibility and stepped out of the alley. (AN: Your alias when inside the capital is Akira)

"That's not necessary mam. My name is Akira. I was sent by a friend to find this idiot after he had gotten lost." I explained to her.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Seryu and this is Coro." the girl said pointing at a dog like thing.

"I'm guessing Coro is an imperial arm since he doesn't look like any dog I've ever seen." I said while looking at the creature.

"A lucky guess. Coro is indeed an imperial arm. He only likes people who have the same affinity as him. Well since you don't need assistance, we'll be on our way. It was nice meeting you." Seryu said before running off.

"Come on Tatsumi." I ordered while walking back to the base.

After we exited the capital and were half way back to the base, Tatsumi decided to speak up. I turned my attention to him.

"Do you know that girl." Tatsumi asked.

"Not personally. But I know that Captain Ogre was a big role model to her, so since you killed him she'll definitely be an annoyance in the future." I answered.

When we got back to the base. I explained everything I had found out. I had a bad feeling that something was about to happen in the near future.
