Jennifer stood with her arms crossed, All this energy, the only thought that would come up to her mind. She saw the aura of pure energy approaching when the source was a mile away. The kings and queen were coming with their children.

Cody Pool led the way with his son Skylar holding his hand, “Jennifer,” he said, “are you ready”?

“Sir, I’m always ready,” she responded. She uncrossed her arms and told the rulers to make the circle they had made three years ago. Opposites across from each other, but this time she joined the circle. This transportation would need a lot more power than the one they had done before. The kids stood by their parents saying their good- byes. Jennifer watched with great sadness.

“Daddy what you doing,” the boy with the yellow streak in his hair asked, Jennifer assumed that was Christian Westgate, heir to the Realm of Light.

Jennifer looked at Zachery; his face was twisted with sorrow. “You’re going to go away for a little while,” he said. Jennifer could tell the man was holding back tears, trying to stay strong for his son.

But Christian’s eyes were filled with curiosity, “Why daddy,” he asked.

“To make new friends,” Zachery could no longer hold his tears. They were streaming down his face, “I love you boy”.

“Mommy,” the girl with the red streak said, this one had to be Lori Blaze, heir to the realm of Fire, “Are you sending us to Earth”?

Jennifer’s face displayed her shock at this three year old girl who knew exactly what was happening.

Carissa nodded, “I love you sweetie,” a tear ran down her check.

“I love you too mommy,” a small smile danced across Lori’s face.

Skylar looked at his father with admiration. When Cody met his gaze he stood up a little straighter and saluted to his father.

Cody nodded, “At ease solider,” he said trying to smile.

“Yes sir,” Skylar had a huge smile on his face.

“I love you Skylar,” Cody said.

“I love you too daddy,” Skylar said. Jennifer had expected him being the one that would be the most ready. He was after all the oldest and most mature.

“Rena,” James called to his daughter, “You remember who are.”

“Yes daddy,” Rena nodded with confidence.

“Remember that your mother and I will always love you,” James said his purple eyes misty with tears.

“I love you too daddy,” she looked away and started to cry.

Dustan looked at his daughter Isabella, “I love you,” was all he needed to say for her to start crying. “Hey,” he said getting down on one knee, “you are from the Realm of Earth. Our people are strong,” he said and pulled his daughter to his chest and kissed her head.

“I- love- you- daddy,” she said in between sniffles.

David Star got down on one knee as well and looked his son, Zephyr, “Look boy, you’re going to grow up and be a very wise man,” he said softly.

Zephyr nodded, “Yes, daddy. I wanna be just like you,” he said with enthusiasm

“No, son you’re going to be yourself,” David smiled and kissed his boy’s forehead. “I love you,” he said and hugged him tight.

Jennifer felt a tear run down her cheek, “Okay guys, and put the travelers in the middle of the circle”.

The rulers told their children to go into the middle of the circle and they all obeyed. Jennifer cleared her throat, muttered a few words in the language of the ancients and said the words that she had said three years ago, “Light,” a column of light shot out. “Darkness,” a column of darkness came. “Earth,” the dirt around Dustan’s feet shot straight up, the three shouted in anguish. “Air,” winds picked up and formed around David, “Fire,” flames shot out from Carissa’s body. “Water,” water from Cody’s body formed a column. “NOW I SACRIFICE MY OWN ENERGY TO SAVE THESE SIX,” she shouted. With that a column of green energy shot from her body and she felt like her body was on fire but she pushed through it. Then the six became incased in a circle formed by the seven columns, Jennifer took a step forward and her column followed. Why she did this she had no idea, perhaps it was her energy guiding her.

The last thing she saw was a bright light. The last thing she heard was a yell from one of the rulers, “AHHHHHHHHHHHH”! She blacked out, fell to the ground and hit the grass hard.

Cody looked at two black marks in the ground, one was where the children were standing and the other was where Jennifer was standing. He looked around to see if any of the others were as confused as him, they were. They had that same look on their face, pale from being drained and with a quizzical expression, examining the scene.

“Wh- where did she go,” Zachery asked.

“I don’t know,” David replied.

Cody got to his feet using what strength he had left. “Lets get out of here,” he said his throat raw from screaming.

“But what about Jennifer,” Carissa asked her voice was hoarse.

“She’ll be fine,” Cody replied he tried not to show the worry he was feeling deep inside but he could feel that he probably wasn’t doing a very good job. “We need to go back to our realms and protect our homes”.

He turned around and started to walk away when a shadow appeared before him. The shadow formed and he saw that it was the young messenger that he had sent this morning, Gage Moody. His expression was solemn different from when Cody had sent him that morning. “Sir,” he said, “I- I bring horrible news”.

Cody sighed expecting this would be the next message he received, “What is it young one”?

“It,” Gage paused, “Umm, sir I think you and should talk privately”. He pulled Cody to the side about twenty yards away from the others, far enough to be out of their hearing. “Sir, I don’t know how to tell you this but-”

“If it’s about the condition of my realm,” Cody cut him off, “tell Annabeth I’ll be right there and not to worry about it”.
