Chapter 5

My body was still on top of hers, and we were still holding hands. I felt as if I was going to fall so I led down next to her on the grass, as I didn't want to fall on her. She got up and placed her head on my chest, and held my hand.

'I'm starting to fall in love with her. But I knew I had to stop myself. I was going to be on tour for the next few months and I would never see her, so I especially didn't want to be in a relationship now... but it's something about Emily that draws me back to her' I thought.

Emily's POV
I was led there, my head resting on Sal's chest as we looked into the sky. I was beginning to fall for Sal but I had to stop now, I got really hurt in a break up last time, and I'm not willing to go through it all again. But for now, I just rested there with him, enjoying the summers day.
"This is nice" I said to Sal. He sat up, and so did I.
"It really is" he replied with a side smile. "Come follow me" Sal said to me, holding out his hand. We ran down to the bottom of the field with the lake in front. He kept staring at me with a smile.
"What?" I asked with a laugh.
He ran and jumped into the lake. A few of the splashes hit me in the face.
I was laughing hysterically.
"Your insane!" I joked to him.
"You need to save me!" Sal joked.
"What do you mean!" I asked him.
"Jump in!" He shouted back with a wink. I slowly ran up and jumped into the lake. It was freezing, but worth it. I swam over to Sal, who placed his hands around my waist as we floated around in the water.
I began to swim away with him following behind, so I could stay warm.
"It's so cold!" I whined.
"Well come here.." Sal said, with his arms open. I moved towards him as he held me tightly into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me, in attempt to keep me warm.
"Is that better?" Sal asked me.
I placed my hands around his neck to keep me close to him.
"Definitely" I replied.
