Chapter 18

My blue eyes stared into his green eyes. I waited for an answer, as his hands grasped tighter around my hands.
"Love what?" I asked him. He looked at me, as if he was studying me. He leaned back in for another kiss, his soft lips attached to mine.
"You" he said, as our foreheads touched. He made me smile.
"I told you that one day I would let you know what I love" I began. He gently nodded, not letting go of my hands.
"What is it?" He asked me.
"You" I replied back. He removed his hands from mine, and placed them on my neck to pull me in closer. Beside us I saw Ashley. I broke the kiss to turn to her.
"Told you you would thank me" she said with a smirk. I lightly laughed then turned back to Sal.
"So what are we?" Sal asked me. I gave him a confused look. "Friends, a couple, strangers??" He asked.
"I'd like to be a couple?!" I asked, quite shyly. Sal gave me a smile and looked up at me.
"I'd love that" he replied. We held onto each other's hands and walked around New York for a while.

We found a mountain, that over looked the city. It was quite dark therefore you could see all the lights scattered around the city. I cuddled up into Sal's arms, as we sat there and took in all the sights. It was pretty cold as I began shivering.
"You cold?" Sal asked me. I nodded. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around my arms.
