Selene

"You were so rude Apollo." Mariin kong paalala sa kaniya nang makaalis si Phil.

I was silently praying earlier na umalis na lang si Phil because obviously he was intimidated by the way Apollo acted, I mean who wouldn't be? He just slapped in someone else's face that he is my husband and Phil was just an old friend.

"He hugged you." He said like that made even the slightest sense.

"And? Ano namang pakialam mo? He's my friend." I said.

Hindi siya nagbigay ng kahit na anong reaksyon at patuloy lang sa pag-aayos ng aming pagkain sa lamesita kaya mas lalo akong napikon. Akala niya siguro okay na kami sa lahat ng ginawa niya sakin noon? Hindi masama ang ugali ko pero sobrang confident naman niya na okay na kami. Iniisip niya ba na magkakaayos kami ng ganito lang?

"I hope you don't mind Apollo, but you may leave." I said coldy.

Napatingin naman siya kaagad sa akin, his eyes held a lot of questions, a bunch of questions that I don't want to answer but I knew that I have no other choice. Dahil kung patuloy kong iiwasan ang mga tanong na ito ay mas lalo lang siyang bubuntot sa akin.

"Hindi tayo okay at hiwalay tayo. Our set up is not normal because we're clearly not together anymore." I pointed out, bakas ang gulat sa kaniyang mga mata ngunit itinuloy ko lamang ang saloobin ko, "Hindi na tayo mag-asawa at ayokong isipin mo na heto na lang tayo at biglang maayos na. I don't know why kuya did this to me, to us, pero hindi tayo maayos Apollo so stop acting like a sick jealous husband dahil wala naman tayong relasyon. Ano na lang ang sasabihin ni Amanda? Inaagaw kita? I'm not like that Apollo and you know that! Alam ko ang tungkol sa inyo and I'm not going to accommodate your cheating ass the way she did. Hindi ko kaya na ganito. I'm only staying with you because it's an order Apollo, kahit hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit. Ayoko na."

I saw the frustration in his every move, marahan siyang tumungo at ilang sandali lamang ay tumayo na. I remained seated on the sofa thinking he would finally leave ngunit ganoon na lamang ang gulat ko nang lumuhod siya muli sa harap ko! What the fuck!? I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing Apollo kneel, his high and mighty pride would never!

"A-Apollo—"

He slowly held my hand at halos manlamig na ang mga palad ko nang marahan niyang halikan ang kamay ko bago mariin itong hinawakan. He still looked mightly while kneeling, but I can confidently feel that his entire guard was down. I swallowed hardly lalo na nang tuluyan na siyang mag-angat ng tingin sa'kin, his steel cold eyes were pleading for something I can't name.

"So this is how it feels to truly make love to your wife huh?" he slightly chuckled ngunit bakas ang lungkot sa kaniyang boses, "An apology will never be enough, especially because I'm the main reason why you changed completely. I blame myself everyday for it, I still do... but it won't bring you back, so here I am, in my every sin, a husband that doesn't deserve any assurance from his wife, willing to do everything to have you back."

He faintly smiled at sa tangkad niya, even when he's kneeling, he towered over me. I slightly bit my lip and held on my sanity as he slowly kissed my forehead, "I love you..."

Kaagad ko siyang itinulak, dala ng gulat at bugso ng aking damdamin. He can't be fucking serious right now!

"You-you're lying!" I bursted out, completely mortified.

"I even made you doubt everything like this, I'm so sorry..." He whispered slowly bago muling hinalikan ang aking noo. "I also want to honestly clarify na wala kaming relasyon ni Amanda. But I can't just leave her, I'm sorry Selene but I can't.. I have a reasonable explanation that I will tell you, just not now, not while we're still like this." he continued.
