“Shit, we're going to miss our flight!” I cried.

“Shut up, we won’t!”He yelled back while loading our luggage in the car.

“Come on, get in,” he yelled and we were on our way to a different world.

So we were deadbeat last night and naturally woke up late, plus I had my dose of morning sickness. So it was all done hastily and we were yelling and screaming at each other.

“Phew!! On time.” He said.

I squinted my eyes and gave him a dirty look.

“We've got first class tickets?!”Josh said.

“Must have been a mistake,” he said.

“No there's no mistake, My Company upgraded it,” I said haughtily.

“Ahunh?” He said raising his eyebrow.

“Yes, now can we please sit, my feet are killing me already, 16 hours shit man,” I cribbed.

He rolled his eyes and sat next to me.

I dozed off in a couple of minutes, when I woke up I realized I'd only slept for an hour.

“Hey,” he said.

“Hey,” I smiled.

“Feeling better?” He asked.

“Yes,” I said.

Then I hogged while Josh was busy on his Laptop.

“Kalsi,” he said.

“Hmm,” I replied with a mouthful.

“Are you sure you'll be okay living alone?” He asked.

“I've been on own forever Josh, what's to worry about?” I said casually.

“I don't doubt that but in case you've forgotten you're pregnant,” he said.

“Josh, I'll be just fine and you're just 30 minutes away from my apartment, so don't worry,” I assured him.

“Okay let's see how this goes or else I'll have you live with me,” he said.

“Fine,” I said and continued hogging.

“Umm, Kalsi there's something I need tell you…” he said.

“Yeah tell me,” I said. I wish I hadn't said that because what he said was an unexpected blow on my heart.

“I had a girlfriend in Canada and we were going to get engaged but things got complicated and I said I needed a break, we haven't spoken since,” he completed.

I just looked at him and tried to hide the pain his words were causing.

“So, umm are you in love with her?” I asked.

He just looked at me for a long time and blinked my eyes trying to hide the tears which began forming and smiled expecting an answer.

“I honestly don’t know,” he said.

“But,” he said and looked away.

“But what?” I asked.

“I don't know if things are over between us o she still thinks this is our normal fighting phase.” he finally confessed.

We were both silent for a long time and I finally mustered the strength to speak.

“You guys clearly have some unresolved issues and you guys might work out Josh,” I said.
