Happy Valentine's Day beautiful people, I'm gonna be spending good my day writing since I'm a single Pringle and sick😂 anyways enjoy

Two week later~~

The guy disappeared. There was no prints left over and I knew basically were kinda at a loss. I had been working my ass of trying to find this guy.

We were now building a robot cause we had to look "think tanky" Mac and I were working on technology stuff while Jack talked about how dangerous it was.

I pop on the robots face while Mac and Bozer looked at him like he was crazy. He started mumbling about the robo apocalypse.

"Why can't we work on rocket ships?" Jack asks.

We continue to work and I was basically ignoring him.

"Your mixing up your doomsday theories." Mac says and I laugh.

Mac gets the robot to sit up just as Jacks talking about Schwarzenegger. The robot sit up and Jack sucker punches him in the face.

"Really." I say before our phones go off.

We walk in and Matty clearly looked distressed. I try to read her behavior but she was hiding it pretty well.

"Last night Vanessa Frank in Daniel Lee found dead in a small park near San Francisco. They were having a picnic when an unidentified man gun them down. An eye witness told SFPD that he thought he saw the shooter walk away." Matty explains.

"Could he ID?" I ask.

"No." Matty replies.

"We're a spy agency this sounds like a murder case." Jack says, "Why can't the SFPD."

Matty taps on the glass making it go frosted and she looks at us.

Ordinarily they would but Vanessa Frank is my goddaughter." She says her voice becoming slightly unsteady.

I bite my lip as Mac says he's sorry. Matty starts explains the case more while clearly trying not to cry.

"A young couple in the park and a black hooded shooter?" Bozer asks.

"That's the M.O.  of the Zodiac Killer." I say, "I worked a case there the other year. It still terrifies some people there."

"The details are exact to the Zodiac Killer." Matty says.

"I thought they caught that guy." Riley says.

"No he just disappeared." Mac explains.

Matty brings up a police sketch of the zodiac killer.

"This has got to be a copy cat. His last murder was almost 50 years ago." Mac says.

"Maybe but it's possible it's not." I say honestly.

"Yeah as long as he can walk and squeeze a trigger." Bozer says but Jack cuts him off.

"All right so which is it? Are we looking for 70-year-old serial killer or some brand new kind of psycho?" Jack asks.

"Either way I'm on the next flight to San Francisco and I like y'all to come with me." Matty says, "This isn't an official Phoenix assignment so I can't make y'all go."
