✿ Chapter Three ✿

I walk in and drop my bags.

"Alex!" I shout looking through the apartment.

"Alex." I say as I walk into the bedroom.

I sigh as I see the unmade bed. I get dressed into pajamas before laying down needing the sleep. I wake up and glance at the clock seeing that Drew should be home soon.

I make the bed before cleaning up the house slightly. I glance at the clock and wait for Alex.

Hours by hours pass and no sign. It's around eight when I get a call.

"Hey Garcia." I say answering the phone.

"We're going out. You wanna come?" She asks.

"Sure." I say smiling.

If Alex wasn't gonna be home I wasn't. I get dressed in skinny jeans, a tight slightly dressy tank top, and nude heels. I do my makeup before doing my hair and calling Garcia.

"We going by Uber?" I ask.

"I mean unless your planning on not drinking." She says and I laugh.

"Nah I think I'll just take a Uber." I say and she laughs.

I get an Uber to the club before climbing out and entering the club. When I get to the club i walk in and see Garcia and Morgan already with drinks. I order myself a drink before walking over to them.

"Where's Alex?" Morgan asks.

No one on the team liked him. Anyways.

"He's hanging out with his friends." I lie.

Soon JJ and Will arrive then Reid and Prentiss arrive.

"Hotch not coming?" Garcia asks and Prentiss shakes her head.

"Jack has a play." She says and we nod before ordering drinks.

Soon we're all on the dance floor and me and Prentiss we're trying to teach Reid how to dance.

"Just relax." I say laughing.

I start dancing before my eyes lands on something. I freeze when I see Alex at the bar.

"Kings." I hear and I glance over to see Prentiss.

She follows my line of sight before I hear a oh shit. I walk over and sit on Alex's lap.

"Sorry I'm late babe," I say smiling, "who are you?" I ask looking at the girl.

"Ugh." She says before leaving.

I stand up and glare at Alex before shaking my head. I walk away before he grabs my hand.

"What the fuck was that." He says gripping my wrist hard.

"Alex let go." I say tugging my hand away.

He doesn't let go and I push him off of me.

"Don't fucking touch me." I spit.

I start to walk away again but he grabs my hand and pulls me so I'm facing him. He slaps me making my head turn. My mouth drops open before I punch him in the nose before forcing my way outside. I get outside before I feel arms wrap around me.

I look up and see Reid and I place my head on his chest. I start crying into my chest. I hear heels and see Garcia.

"Awe babes." She says wrapping me in a hug.

"I just wanna go home." I mumble.

Will and Morgan walk out holding him. He looks at me but Prentiss moves in his view.

"I want your shit out of my fucking apartment by tomorrow or it's going in the fucking dumpster." I say glaring at him.

One of his friends pulls up and Alex gets in the car. Morgan and Will walk over to us before JJ comes back handing everyone cards.

"Did anyone bring a car?" Garcia asks.

Soon I'm placed in Reid's car and Garcia was riding in the back. I look down at my hands that were bruised from the fight with the unsub. We soon get to Garcia's apartment and we say goodbye to Reid before going to her apartment. We soon are watching a movie in her apartment.

I look at Garcia and make sure she's asleep before getting up and walking outside. I pull my phone out and quickly find the Phoenix Foundations number.

"How May I help you?" A girl asks.

"Hi can you connect me to Patricia Thornton?" I ask before I start picking at my nails.

"Sure one sec." She says.

"This is Director Thornton." I hear.

"Thornton." I say.

"Adeline. I was wondering when I would hear from you." She says.

"I wanna talk about the job." I say and I could hear her smile.

"You're considering it?" She asks.

"Yeah I need a change in pace." I say letting my hand brush against my cheek.

"Well what do you want to talk about?" She asks.

I sit there for an hour on the phone before I end the call and go back inside. I walk in and see Garcia still knocked out. I smile slightly before laying down.

I had two weeks left with these people. After a year I had two weeks.
