✿ Chapter Ten ✿

A week later~~

Mac and Jack were lost in the wood and I was shaking. Me and Mac were basically together and we had been good. We had people doing a grid search and we were steadily marking off spots. I shake my leg as Bozer walks in and hands me a water.

"Mac would want you to stay healthy." He says and smile.

I drink some of the water and sit down.

"Kingsley I love you but stop shaking your leg." Riley snaps and I mutter sorry.

The miscarriage hit me hard and I took a week off. We were getting a new boss and Jack had already expressed dissatisfaction.

"Come on Mac make some noise. Show them where you are." Riley says and I stand up.

"Mac I swear if you don't get your ass out of there I'm killing you." I mutter.

I let out a yawn and Bozer looks at me.

"Get some sleep." He says and I shake my head.

I sit back down and try to keep my eyes open but I my eye lids felt like they weighed a ton. I feel something get draped over me as I fall asleep.

I stand waiting for Mac and him, jack and the pilot walk in and I run over to him. I wrap my arms around him and he hugs me back.

"I was worried." I mumble and he hugs me back.

"Baby I'm not leaving you." He says and I smile.

We talk for a while before we go into the war room to meet our new boss. I was on Mac's lap while he folded a paperclip.

"Whatcha making?" I ask as Jack paces around.

"Not quite sure yet." He says and I smile.

"Jack why are you so worried?" Riley asks looking at Jack.

"Look me and the hun have a past." Jack says.

"Oh she fired your ass." I say reading body language.

"No. I left the CIA on my own free will." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Maybe I should've wore a tie." Bozer says and I laugh.

Sudden the door opens and I look over to see a really short lady.

"Matty. You're back." Jack says as she enters.

"Hell yeah im back." She says before looking at me and MacGyver, "Feet on the floor blondie and get off his lap." She says and Mac puts his feet down before we both stand up.

She nods slightly before she looks at Jack again, "I thought you would've been dead or retired by now." She says.

"Uh, no ma'am." Jack says stuttering slightly. "I'm severing my country till they tell Me to stop."

"Stop!" She says before laughing, "I'm kidding."

She then turns to me and Mac again and she books at my wrist. I look down and cover my wrist. Mac immediately wraps a protective arm around me and I lean into him slightly.

She looks away before saying, "Look whatever Jack told you about me is all true. So suck it up cause I'm here and it's happening." She says looking at all of us, "Anyways there's a situation in Kuwait and it needs our immediate attention." She says and we nod.

My phone goes off and I see Penelope's name pop up. I decline it but seconds later Hotch calls.

"Um I gotta check this." I say walking out into the hallway.
