A side effect of the reset

Frisk's POV 

I wake up barely opening my eyes and see (Y/N) holding my ring he had tears in his eyes and had a sad smile. "Frisk I'm sorry for not protecting you and Lily but you deserve a second chance at life. I said that I would be strong for you and I failed so I give up my existence to save everyone else's life. Frisk I will say it one last time, I love you with all my soul!" He touches the save stone and a menu shows up and he hits reset. I reach out for him but I was too late. Everything around me turns white and a blinding burst of light flows from his body then everything goes black. I wake up again to find myself in our bed with the sound of crying. I get out of bed and walk down our hallway and stop at the door where the crying is coming from I open the door and see Lily in her crib. I just look straight ahead, not at Lily, and not at the wall I was staring into space until I felt a hand on my back. I turn around and see, myself! I am shocked at this and hear her say "(Y/N) it's alright she is just scared of the dark." I remember doing this before and then it hits me, I am watching (Y/N)'s memories. My vision goes black again and I find a man standing over my body and (Y/N) cries and rips the man apart with his magic and burns him until his ashes are burning.

My vision goes white and when it clears I find myself crying as I stare up into the sky from the hole I have fallen into. I get up and look at my body to see that I didn't go back to the young age I was when I first fell, I look around and see Flowey isn't there and as I go through the underground I notice that nobody is here when I reach the barrier it's already broken. I leave and see the town that we have lived in for a year. It's  perfectly fine, everything is undamaged, and nothing seems out of the ordinary, except I can't find (Y/N). "What is going on here?" I ask. "what do ya mean kiddo?" I look back and see Sans. "I mean I can't find my husband or my baby and my house is gone!" I start to cry. "uh, kiddo you alright, you never married anyone." As he said those words I went wide eyed and cried hysterically. "it was another timeline wasn't it?" I just nod not making eye contact. "Where is Gaster? He can help me can't he?" He looks at me like I'm crazy but he agreed and took me to the lab. "hey gaster frisk needs to talk with you." "Of course Sans thank you for bringing her to me." Sans leaves. "It's about (Y/N) isn't it?" I just break down "Yes! What happened to him?" He looks at me sadly "He reset the timeline however we still have memories of him so it wasn't a perfect one so he may still be able to be saved but we must hurry before we lose our memories of him." I realize what he meant and beamed and then it faded. "So if he reset the timeline why didn't he show back up?" Gaster responds with "He was not originally a part of this universe so when he reset he began to fade from the world. We have to hurry now before he completely enters the white void and will become light."

Time skip 

Gaster's POV

It's been five days since the reset and my memories of him are starting to fade. Now that we have finished the portal we can enter but we should have something already unstable enter. Another portal opens and a human like figure steps out and volunteers to do it.
