i wake up from my sleep. i check my phone and it's only 2 am. i go downstairs to grab some water.

"joey?" i said

seeing two eyes wide opened in the dark, i turn on the lights. it's joey.

"why are you awake?" i asked

"i haven't slept" he said

"why? can you sleep?" i asked

"i cant sleep" he said

"you're not comfortable with the room?" i asked

"noo the room is fine, it's just new vibe you know, new bed, new feelings, it's just hard the first day" he said

that's true. sophia sleep over at my house a lot but this is joey's first time. especially after we played ouija board yesterday.

i turn on the tv and lower down the voice because sophia is sleeping, i put on netflix and tell joey to sit on the couch so he did

"popcorn?" i said

"sure" he said

i make a bowl caramel popcorn and grab water bottles for us to drink. not gonna lie, i am pretty tired but i can't leave joey alone too.

i sit beside him and then give him a water bottle

"thanks" he said

"what do you wanna watch?" i asked

"anything you pick" he said

so i pick a movie. we watch coco. i just wanna watch coco for some weird reason. in the middle of the movie he grab my chin and peck my lips

"you taste like caramel" he said and i laugh

"what was that for?" i asked

"i like you" he smile so do i

"i like you too" i said

"i wanna make you mine" he whispered

"what?" i asked

"nothing" he said

but i heard what he said. we enjoyed the movie but before the movie ends, i fell asleep, so did joey.

joey's pov :

i wake up, it's only 7 am. sophia hasn't waken up. lexi is sleeping on my chest, i softly stroke her brunette hair, how come she's that pretty even when she's sleeping? and how come i just noticed how beautiful she is. shit, i think i'm in love with her. "it's just a dare joey" i thought to myself

i gently get up from the couch and prepare breakfast for lexi and sophia, i'm the oldest and i have to take care of two girls that i love. i make bacon and eggs and pour them a glass of orange juice.

i see lexi is already up and she is doing her morning stretches.

"goodmorning" i said

"morning" she said then put on her black oversized hoodie. she put her hair in a messy bun, she looks cute.

"can you wake sophia up?" i said

"sure" she said

she was walking to her room but i hold her hand. she turned back and now facing me i peck her lips then let her go

"you held my hand just for that?" she asked

"yeah" i said

"geez" she said and roll her eyes then she giggle
