lexi's pov :

we now can open our blindfolds. not gonna lie i'm extremely confused right now, we're now inside the jail bar and i don't know what to do. i see joey is looking for something so i decided to act like i'm searching for whatever he's searching

it's been almost 2 minutes. fuck this i'm gonna talk to him

"joey" i said

he looks shocked because i called him

"huh?" he said softly under his breathe

"what are you looking for?" i said

"oh the key" he said shortly

"we need the key to open this door" he added

"i'll help you search it" i said and looking around at the room

"okay" he said while searching for the key again

i search around the room but i cant find it, i give up, this is too hard

"ugh where is the key anyway" i said in despair while sitting down on the floor

"i don't know but we need to get out from here asap" he said while still searching for the key. 

ok but how come he hasn't given up. it's been like 10 minutes.

i was sitting down and looking around the room and that's when my eyes see the shiny bright thing outside the bar

"JOEY THE KEY" i shouted

"jesus lexi, you scared me" he said in shock

"I SEE IT" i said

"where?" he asked

"there" i said while pointing outside the bar

he come closer to the key and try to reach it but he cant.

"here i'll try" i said

i tried to reach for the key too but i can't. it's too far and high and our hands aren't that long

"i have an idea" he said

"just do as i say okay?" he said

i'm super confused right now but i just nodded at him

he grabs a broomstick and give it to me

"hold this" he said so i hold it

but then he suddenly picks me up and giving me a piggyback ride

"what are you doing?!" i said in shock

"just trust me" he said and then he stand up

"i'll go there, you put the broomstick inside the circle hanger of the key okay?" he said 

"okay" i said 

so i do what joey told me and then we succeeded

"OMG YAYYY" i said and hug him

"YAYAYA" he said and hug me back then we jump together

then i realise what just happened and let go of the hug. 

"uh let's get out from here" he said while blushing. i could see his face turns to tomato.

he opened the door and i chuckled

"let's go" i said to him

okay then long story short me and joey met sophia after that and we did some quizzes and riddles after that we found bella and we got out. there was this moment when i got scared because of the music while we were doing the riddles and joey was standing next to me then he held my hand. it was shocking but i felt more safe when he did that. but that doesn't mean i wanna go back to him. but i know, i already forgive him, the moment i talked to him. i just cant be mad at him.

"WE MADE IT" bella said after we got out

"YES HOLY FRICK THAT WAS LONG" scotty said and we laugh

"okay but the music was very scary like thank god i'm with scotty and not you" sophia said while sticking her tounge out to joey

"hey if you were with me i'd be scared because  you're scarier than the music" joey said

"what did you say pal" she said while sinking her eyes

"hey you guys stop" bella said

"why do you guys always fight" i said and chuckled

"because joey is the most annoying brother ever" sophia said

"oh my god my brother and sister" scotty said while embracing them hardly

"scot!" sophia said letting go of his hands

"hey guyss how was the escape room?" jen suddenly came up to us

"it was so fuuuun but scary at the same time" i said

"you and joey took so long to get out what happened?" scotty said

"we couldn't find the key" joey said

"okay not gonna lie at first i didn't even know what we were looking for" i said and everybody laugh

god i love them

"then what were you searching the first time?" joey asked

"i don't know either, i just followed you" i said

everyone's smiling for some weird reason. i looked at them in confusion

"what?" i asked to them

"someone's already made up" sage said

"mom!" i said

"i'm glad you guys talked" jen said

"oh our uber is here" suddenly bella said

"come on" now everybody is already out

i was walking outside but then joey hold my hand

"we need to talk" he said

"now?" i asked

"i'm gonna tell them to go without us" he said and go outside 

not long after that they already gone and now it's just me and joey

"come on let's talk outside" he said 

we go outside and walk around the downtown

"what do you wanna talk about?" i asked

"lexi" he said and sigh

"i know i've said this thousand times but i am really sorry for what i did. i am a dick, it's all on me and i know i don't deserve your forgiveness but i'm truly sorry for hurting you. for making you sad. for being a terrible boyfriend. i hope we can be friends, this time i mean seriously just friends not less or more. as long as i know you're not mad at me, i'm happy" he said and look at me in the eyes

"i regret everything that i did" he added

"please forgive me?" he asked

"i forgive you" i said and smile

he pulled me to a hug, at first i was shocked but then i hug him back

"thankyou lexi" he said

"it's late we still need to go home" i said pulling out from our hug

"oh right" he said and call an uber after

the uber arrived not long after that and we go back to birlem's house. 

we got out from the car.

"thanks joey for today" i said and smile

"no, thankyou" he said

"bye" i said

"be careful okay?" he said and i wave at him

then i go back to my house and call it a day
