i immediately facetime joey.i told him and sophia everything, i feel better already. i love them. i said that i miss jen. she never yelled at me. they told me to come back to LA. and i seriously can't wait for that day.

*knock knock*

"lexi you okay?" i heard tayler said from the door

"i'm fine, leave" i said

"hey i'm always here for you, you know that" tayler said

"if you wanna make me happy then leave." i said

"listen. i don't know what's wrong with you lately, but don't treat people like that lexi" tayler said

"you're no one to me. leave before i hate you even more" i said

then i heard his footsteps away from my room

maddie's pov :

"i'm really sorry she's like that" i said

"it's okay" he said

"you wanna tell me what do people say about her?" i asked

"let's go upstairs" he said

we go upstairs and sit on the rooftop. it's night time. the sky is beautiful.

"so?" i said

"it's about joey" tayler said

"what?" i said

"he goes to lexi's old school" tayler said

"wait public school?" i said

"yes" he said

"then what's the big problem?" i asked

"there's this girl" tayler said

"oh no don't tell me that he-" i said

"he's been dating her since lexi left" he said

"her name is karlee" he said

"tell me everything" i said

"karlee is the type of popular girl in school that you don't wanna mess with. she hold grudges real bad. her father owns a very famous company & she's hella rich." he said

"not about karlee dummy. joey" i said

"joey has been dating her since lexi left. he went to public school ever since and he told karlee that lexi and him was for publicity stunt. he told karlee that lexi knows that. and he told her that they broke up because lexi left to new york to get a new career" he said

"and the worst part is..." he said

"he told everyone that he was only dared by charles to date lexi. charles confirmed that" he said

"tell me you're lying" i said

"i'm not lying maddie. it's true" he said

"people at my school. treat her like shit, they dislike her, call her names and sometimes they screenshot her post just to make fun of her" he said

"do you make fun of her?" i said

"no that's why i moved here. i hate people at that school." he said
