Steven stood up for amethyst and told her that shell never be like jasper, and that amethyst is like Steven, they both want to be like someone they're not AND THEY FRIGGEN FUSED!!!
I know Steven fused with Connie first but I DON'T CARE
Plus Steven tends to worry about amethyst...A LOT...He's also so sweet to her
Also if they did get together amethyst would probably feel better about herself.
And finally they get along better than anyone else
