I deleted it.. I talked to XxDiamond_GodxX about it and he said a crewniverse member confirmed that Amedot would be a "first crush" thing
Also, I read a comment on a stevethyst fannart on deviantART:
"Steven And Amethyst should be a couple! No other characters in the series share such a strong and deep emotional connection with each other like Steven and Amethyst does, They bring up each other when ever they are feeling down, they inspire each other! They have so much in common and share the same pains and weaknesses with each other which is probably why Steven spends more time with Amethyst than he ever does with Connie his "Lover" Which means they may be subconsciously attracted to each other but just haven't realized the true feeling they have for one another yet, They don't want to see each other fall down they inspire each other to grow and to know that they will always have one very close person by their side when ever times grow tough
60% of Steven Universe episodes we always see Steven and Amethyst together enjoying the time they spend together, As shown especially with all the emotionally deep episodes Steven and Amethyst have had together such as the episode "An Indirect Kiss" which the entire plot of that episode was for Steven to save Amethyst and even at the beginning of the episode Amethyst teased Steven of about how he felt about her, have you noticed as the series progresses Steven and Amethyst have been spending more and more time with each other and that their moments together are becoming stronger and more emotionally impactful ? I strongly feel that the Crewniverse is putting all these subtle hints about Steven and Amethyst romantic love for each other in the series because their relationship is being built for something bigger in the near future
Also Steven and Amethyst are able to fuse with each other without a fusion dance, In order for that to happen the 2 or more gems who are fusing have to have strong and deep feelings for each other, Amethyst considers Garnet and Pearl her family but regardless of that she still needs to do a fusion dance with them in order to fuse with them but yet she is able to fuse with Steven so easily ? Also if you look at the reoccurring pattern of fusion the gems who have romantic feelings for each other never have to do a fusion dance with each other in order to fuse, Where as the gems who don't have those romantic feelings for each other or just a friend/family gem fusing needs to the fusion dance in order to fuse, Even Steven and Connie the "Lovers" need to do a fusion dance in order to fuse while Steven and Amethyst can easily fuse just by simply hugging or holding hands so does this mean that Steven and Amethyst have stronger feelings for each other compared to Steven and Connie ? So if you think about that for a second what does that tell you about Steven and Amethyst ? So that means there has to be much much more between them than what is revealed, So this clearly means that Steven and Amethyst feelings for each other are far beyond just family love.
This all could be foreshadowing for what is to come in their relationship in the near future and I hope Rebecca Sugar decides to take their relationship to the next level, StevenXAmethyst forever. 😊"
