Sorry I haven't updated in a long time because I'm trash, thanks for being amazing people.
Tony: You twisted the hem of your dress as you looked hopefully off into the crowd for your significant other. It was at a school dance and they hadn't shown up yet. You decided to go and get some punch, maybe slip some brownies down your bra for later. You were ladling pink lemonade into a plastic cup when someone tapped you on the shoulder. You whirled around to see Lainey (don't worry about her, she's just a whiny bitch) standing there. "Oh hey, have you seen y/s/o/n around?" You asked. "I did, they're making out with someone in the courtyard" Lainey said.
Your face fell and your eyes slowly hardened. "What?" you said, your voice dangerously calm. "Yeah they're like sucking that person's face off" Lainey said, twirling her hair with her finger, clearly not getting the message you were sending. "Hold my drink" you said shoving the cup in her hands before storming off. You walked into the courtyard and sure enough your significant other and some random person in too tight clothes were being a little bit more than friends on a bench. "Y/s/o/n!" You called out harshly making them pull away quickly.
Their eyes widened when they saw you standing there, hands on your hips, eyes burning with fury. "Y-y/n, I was just-we were just umm.." they tried to explain. "Can it dickwad," you said,"we're over." You whirled around on one heel and stomped away. You tried to keep the tears from falling but your lips began to tremble. You willed yourself to become invisible and sat down at a table and began to cry. You picked up your phone and called your Dad. "You having fun?" He asked. "D-dad?" You asked sniffling. "Oh no what's wrong?" He asked. "Everything" you said as you sobbed.
Steve: You hummed the why the fuck you lyin' song as you picked out your clothes. "Blue or black.." you muttered to yourself comparing the dresses on you. "Blue" your dad said as he walked in. "Okay, thanks!" You said cheerfully, nothing could ruin your mood (ahhhhh). "You sure you don't want me to drive you to your date?" He asked. "Dad, I'm fine, trust me" you said. "Okay, I'll get out now" he said. You put on the blue dress and grabbed your stuff. You checked your watch, 6:57, time to go.
You pulled up to the restaurant and got out of the car. "Y/s/o/n!" You called as you ran up to him and hugged them. "Y/n, hey our table's ready" they said. We walked in and the waiter led us to our table. You looked at y/s/o/n who's face was illuminated by the soft candlelight glow. You tapped your fingers on the table and looked around. "So...?" You asked. "So what?" Your significant other asked with a grin. "So why here, this fancy place" you said.
"Because I need to tell you something" they said. They reached under the table which made your heart stop in your chest. They can't be asking to marry me, no it can't be, can it? You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding when they pulled out a homemade card. You took it from they're hands and opened it. "It's not you, it's me, I'm sorry we're breaking up, here's some money," it read, it held 20 dollars. You looked up at your significant other who smiled nervously. "You couldn't wait until the end of dinner?!" You shouted and got up from the table in a hurry, trying to get away before the tears came.
Natasha: "Please don't hurt me" your significant other pleaded as they raised their hands in front of their face defensively. "I'm not going to hurt you" you said. They looked surprised and lowered their hands a bit but still kept them in a defensive position. "You're not?" They asked warily. "I mean if you didn't think our relationship was healthy then it was probably for the best" you reasoned. "Oh" they said with a sigh of relief, finally putting their hands down.
"Sorry" they said. "That's okay, not all things work out" you said. You walked away and surprised yourself how easy it was to hide your anger. However it was a different story when you got to the sparring mat that Tony had set up for you, specifically for these...anger issues. You punched the punching bag furiously until you had punched a hole in it making the stuffing fall out. You yelled in a anger and kicked the bag as it swung around lifelessly while spilling it's guts. You breathed heavily and looked around with wild eyes until you started to calm down.
