Loki Catch Up

I meant to update this before Thanksgiving, but I never got to it, sorry.

How You Met: Staring at your face he wondered how he got here and what he was going to do now. He had saw you abandoned in the middle of the road, crying and probably cold. I am Loki, I am a god, I do not associate myself with humans, especially not babies. But somehow he found himself picking you up. He thought about giving you to someone, but the moment he looked into your eyes he stopped.

They were a deep e/c and were full of love, innocence-. No. I am a monster, I would be terrible for any child. I don't know the first thing about even just interacting with a child. Imagine raising one. He thought about asking Thor for advice but decided against it because Thor did not have any experience either and well...he's Thor. He looked into your eyes again, big mistake.

Because then he found himself finding clothes for you and other baby necessities. He sighed, "Well I'm keeping you, so I might as well name you....how about y/n, it's Midgardian, at least I think" he said. "Y/n Lokidottir, has a nice ring to it" he said. You gave a toothless grin at him and he smiled back, it was nice to have someone that trusted him.

Your First Steps: "Y/n, it's bathtime" Loki called. You smiled, you were in the perfect hiding spot. He would never check in the bathroom because he would think you wouldn't be dumb enough to go in here....wait... You were pulled out of your thoughts when you heard your dad walk by the bathroom. "Oh well I guess I will eat all the ice cream that I was going to give to y/n" he said.

You screamed, then your dad opened the door. "Aha there you are" he said with a grin on his face. Well, this is the end, you thought, unless... You stood up and ran through your dad's legs. "What the..." He said turning to watch you scramble out of the bathroom. Little did he know that you had practicing how to walk, and eventually how to run while your dad wasn't watching. You were just waiting for the right moment.

You felt hands wrap around your waist and you screamed. "Gotcha!" He said. "You know what, because you had your first steps I think you get ice cream" he said. You smiled, but inside you were cackling like a witch after her plan unfolds. Little did you know that Loki did know that you could run and knew you would use it to escape bath time.

Your First Words: How could he do this to you. You were sitting with your arms crossed as Thor sat in front of you making weird noises and gestures. Your dad left to go do something and left you with Thor, now you understood why your dad always called him an oaf. Did Thor seriously think that this was entertaining. "Peek-a-boo" Thor exclaimed.

You still just stared at him with an annoyed look in your eyes. "Why do you never smile?" Thor asked. You smiled, but it was a mischevious grin. "You are definitely Loki's daughter" he said, oh you have no idea, you thought. You sat in silence for a while before you got up and walked away. You came back with a plastic tea set, you hated it, but you had an idea.

"Oh you like playing tea party" he said. You nodded, grinning trying not to barf. You walked away again before bringing back a teapot full of water, among other things. You poured Thor's cup and your cup. You pretended to drink it and Thor took a big sip from it. Then his eyes closed and he fell back snoring. You smiled mischievously and took out your set of permanent markers. Your dad came in when you finished the masterpiece and you said,"Sorry" before running off. Thor had woken up.

Fight: You headed back to your house after a long day of school. You smiled as you reminisced getting 2 of your school bullies to fight each other. You were pulled from your thoughts when you were slammed into a brick wall. A knife was pressed to your throat and you swallowed looking down at it. "Give me all your money" the man said, you couldn't see his face because he was wearing a black mask. You paused, thinking of a way to talk your way out of this. To stall you said,"And what if I don't have any money?"

"Well I guess I will have to settle for killing the daughter of the man who destroyed New York" he said. "Seriously, that was so long..." You said trailing off and staring at the wall in front of you with fear. The man turned and you almost grinned, it always worked. You used his distraction as an advantage to punch him in the adams apple. He doubled over choking and gagging so you grabbed his knife.

"Curiosity killed the cat" you said before slammed the hilt of the knife into his head, knocking him unconscious. You dragged him to the nearest police station and told them what happened before walking home again.

Period: You cried at dropping one of your grapes so you knew that your period was near. It was near the end of the day and you were in math, ugh. You decided to get up and go to the bathroom. When you looked at your seat it had a red stain on it, shit. You ran to your locker and got your period stuff. You went to the bathroom and saw that there was a red stain in your pants and underwear.

Were my pants like this all day!? Why did no one tell me. You know what, I'm kind of glad no one told me that would be really awkward. You put on a pad and did your best to clean up the stains. You pulled down your shirt and hoped no one saw. This was going to be a long math class.

Cute Things: You and your dad sat in a small nook with sunlight pouring in, cookies by your side. You both had books open and were sitting silently. Suddenly you gasped and Loki looked up from his book concerned. "What happened?" He asked. "..Dumbledore died" you said. He set his book down after putting a bookmark in it. He reached over and hugged you as you cried.

You wiped your tears and said,"I'm done now." "Okay" he said letting go. You went on reading for a bit in silence again until Loki gasped. "What?" You asked. "They were actually brother and sister, ew" he said. You smiled internally because you know the truth. But outside you hugged him as he said,"They were my second favorite ship though" he said.

"I'm done now" he said and you let him go. You both went on reading again until you ran out of cookies. Then you made popcorn and had a LOTR marathon.

Finding Out You Have Powers: You looked sadly down at your paper. A 70 stood out on your paper. "What did you get?" A boy asked you. "Uh, nothing" you said. He snatched the paper away from you and you said,"Hey! Give it back!" "You got a 70 ha! I got a 100" he said. "Congrats for you now shut up and give me my paper back" you grumbled.

Then his eyes glazed over and he handed your paper to you and immediately shut his mouth. After he did that he blinked then shook his head looking around in disbelief. Weird. You went up to the teacher to see if you could do corrections. "Can't you just give me a 100" you said jokingly then the teacher's eyes glazed over like the boy's and they turned to their computer and added 100 for your score.

Then they had the same reaction as the boy. You took your paper back and walked to your seat. That was certainly unexpected but not completely unwelcomed. You would have to ask your dad about it later. For now you had to see what else you could do with your power.
