Sexuality and Equality

Okay, so something that I noticed recently is that there's always an imbalance of something, And that can always circle back to sexuality. Why? I'm not sure, But I can think of a few things, and on both sides.
Let me say that, me, myself, I like girls. Sure, I don't like boys. But I don't go around saying to people "I WANT YOU TO BE GAY!" Because that's rude. If I like girls, That's my thing, And if you don't like it, I'm sorry.
But something I honestly hate about our community is that some things that we say are just double standards. For instance, if you say "I want more people to be gay" then...that can be considered hate. It is, in fact, hate. Because, let me tell you this, that Rake pointed out to me, was that for saying something like "I want more people to be straight" gets so much backlash! But why doesn't the other one?
Maybe we're just used to being privledged, but i really do think that we all just remember that we wanted equality, And that we're making ourselves look bigger than we are.
And gay people are equal to straight people. If someone doesn't like the idea of someone being gay, it's not like it's curable. It's not a disease, And you can't just say "HE'S GOT THE GAY!" Because..no.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone is equal. Gay, straight, girl, boy. No one has more, or less privileges than the other.
